  13. Made some great progress on the pole barn yesterday. We are all some hurtin units today. Couldn't have done it without the help of my hard working friends. We made every second count because WX was calling for down poors. Set 25 poles in 7.5 hrs. Not bad for 4 aircraft mechanics and an electrical engineer from 44- 56 yrs old. Go buy some stock in advil and Tylinol!
  14. Not to mention he uses bubble gum colored dipseys! It's Bazooka Joe's fav color especially the ones with a black Magnum Ring and bubble gum pink on the inside.

  17. Cool I'm fishing Ontario from 190 miles away. That's the Spoon guys and thanks for running it!
  18. WTG Theresa! That had to be a good work out on copper. As many people have said, Thanks for taking us on vacation with you. I followed along all week at work and shared with my co workers. I'm working on my Pole Barn Now and still getting some fishing in with you two. If you need a recommendation for a spoon later, I propose you try a Green Monkey Puke NK28 if you have one. That spoon took all my fish the one time I fished off the Niagra bar. Good luck!
  19. I've got a pair of diawa heartlands that have been in service for over 10 yrs, They even took a bone crunching ride under the Tunkanic falls bridge scraping them up and bringing the boat to a stop. I expected them to fail yrs ago and they have not. The rest of my boat is equipped with the YELLOW Eagle claw starfires and the last 2 dipsey rods I bought are the Starfire 403s. Those starfires were a common stable for charter capt.s for years. I like them because of thier visablity. I will catch a release out of the corner of my eye way easier than other colors. Bretts on the bay have great prices on all Starfires. http://www.brettsplaceonthebay.com/2-pa ... -rods-new/ 2 for $50
  20. Most of my years fishing my landing rate on dipseys has been about 25%. I always thought it was do to the rediculous item " Big disc with lead in it" between you and the fish and that the fish could use it as leverage during thrashing. This last year our land rate was way better then that probably 75% and the only thing we changed was went from Lure Jenson to walkers and the walkers were black were as in the past always used brite colored Lure Jensons. Don't know if it was a coincidence or the reason.
  21. WTG Cous!
  22. Yee Haw. go get um . I camped on the Canadian side once and hiked an unmarked fisherman's trail down to the whirl pool I believe. Those jet boats would come up in there and play. I dumped my boat in the river. Wow what magnificent force. Many times the prop would cavitate and you would loose steering because of the caldrin like currents going on and your right. People who go visit the falls and don't explore the trails below miss out.
