    If you are not dead set on a Christensen, there are other options. One may be a Tikka Lite or Superlite. Both could be had with custom lightweight stock (maybe even carbon stock) and be sub MOA for that price. If you are shooting under 4-500 yards, the Creed would be fine. Keep in mind that lighter rifles can be a little harder to shoot than heavy ones.

    Thanks for the input. We would be only trailer twice a year, and both times it would be pretty stripped, so 8500 was the minimum, but definitely had a tri-axle in mind, just not very easy to come by. I have a few new ones priced out, just figured I would look for a good used one first.

    Was using that as a minimum. I see it listed as 7500 with a single, so assume another 800 or so with another motor/trans.

    Damn I would love to try some coyote hunting around here. Got this guy last fall, but wasn't much of a hunt. Standing out there in the sage about 350yds. REALLY wish i woulda kept the hide. It was gorgeous.

    Any of the above works, '06, 243, 308, 270, and 6.5 creed. They will all kill. Depending how much you are going to shoot, walk around, look at what ammo is offered for what you want to do. (target, deer...). You will see a wide range of prices between and within cartridges. If you aren't shooting more than 300 yards, my choices would be creed or 243. Everyone makes these, can find ammo anywhere, little/no recoil and kill deer as well as anything. Also, don't buy a gun from F&S, support your local gun store. Most treat you well and will have you coming back for more guns...you can't just have one.....
