  1. I learned a TON from that site. Looking forward to your future posts. Hopefully someone will make it a sticky (wink wink).
  2. we're you able to use your old mag 10 bases? If not, is the bolt pattern of your new cannons the same as the old mag 10s?
  3. I've only used Bloodrun, so kind of partial I guess. On a side note, I had an issue with their wire last year and talked too the Bloodrun guys at LOTSA about it. They showed me to to fix the problem, and handed me a new spool of 30# wire to replace the old one. Getting hard to find that kind of customer service nowadays. Will def be back to ge tmore of their products.
  4. Slippery Sinker in Olcott has copper setups. I'm sure he can set up whatever size you need. In a pinch, I think Dick's and Gander Mtn have pre rigged setups (300' I believe).
  5. That's why we head on over to lake Erie. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. I"m by no means 'a hell of a good walleye fisherman'. Just learning as I go
  7. I set it as if a fish were pulling in it. Again, I use it as a starting point. We drop the balls, load the rods how we want them and adjust accordingly. We'll pull the Ross ayer about 20 min to set if we are dragging anything. If we are, turn em back a bit. If not leave em til we get a hit and see what happens. 8. For walleye fishing, we use a scale to set them at about 2-2.5# (typically use 12# mono). For lake O, we usually start around 5# and adjust from there. Also depends how deep we fish and what we are pulling.
  9. this is a GREAT knife. Scary sharp out of the package and holds an edge for quite a while
  10. bump. All stickbaits are sold.
  11. SOLD
  12. the important questionis HOW and WHY do you still have an Audiobahn CD??
  13. we have a handful of those guys. As far as I know, they have never gotten wet.
  14. What Tim said. Ours handle the 10# no problem but are slow as hell bringing up our 13# torpedos
  15. I have to wipe the drool from my chin every time I see this boat when I walk by it. Love that thing.
  16. she may be 13 years old, but will still do 100+ and get there in a hurry
  17. What he sent me so far. Will update if I get more.
  18. true. Probably hoping people spend the money they saved on merch., hotels, whatever.....But I'm sure most out of state hunters/fisher already have a cabin or camper and won't spend more than what they already do. Best hope for that are the 1, 3, or week licenses holder spend more, but that won't account for a drop in the bucket compared to what we will lose.
  19. I get where you're coming from and understand. I was only talking about the fishing side though. It does kind of suck (for NY res) that the non res side is getting a huge diacount and that we will be paying for it in the long run. Any idea what their resoning was?
  20. yup. looks like PA. http://fishandboat.com/fishpub/summary/licenses.html Getting a 5 year non-res license is what? $8-9 cheaper? eh. Guess it's OK but I'd have to live closer to PA and especially wander into PA waters while fishing quite frequently. But, on a NY note, fishing licenses are getting cheaper. Not too ofter NY drops prices on anything.
  21. I'll guarantee you'll be the first one to your spot....even if you were with yout buddy riding nuts to butts
