  1. Rewired some electrical, few new reels, new wire. New spoons, flashers and meat rigs of course.
  2. We use a bucket. Grab a bucket full of water, bonk the feesh, hack the gills. 5 min later, throw fish in cooler, dump bucket. No lost feesh. Works for all sizes.

  9. Had a transom mount transducer with twin inboards. Did it work while trolling? Yes, but not as well as I had hoped. At faster trolling speeds, there were times there was more interference. Made the switch to thru hull, but kept the transom mounted 'ducer installed to compare. Using both back to back, the 600w thru hall outperforms the 1000w transom mount 'ducer at all trolling speeds and cruising. Better picture and less interference.
  10. Tell her to go to the gym, get on the bench, start lifting, maybe some curls, so she won't drop your boards again. Other than that, I think she'll be fine. Oooohhh, you meant fix the boards. Yea, what Rusty said.
  11. There are a lot of charters out of Olcott and Wilson. I don't know any well enough to recommend one over another and I'm betting your can't go wrong with most/all of them. 4 mile is within 20 min of Olcott and Wilson. Sent from my SM-G965U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. If you want to travel 20-40 min east towards Wilson or Olcott, there are a LARGE number of charters that will take care of you.
  13. or powder?
  14. I've picked up a few thousand SRP and LRP. Easiest way is to hit up online sites and get notifications. BIG downside is cost. You'll get hit by premium prices, shipping AND HAZMAT fees. Luckily, in the shops I frequent, powder has steadily been coming back....just not the ones I need.
  15. No way. Presses can be had for under $100, same with powder measures/scales (or both in 1), calipers $50. Those are your big ticket items. The rest are dies and components, and that all depends on how many cartridges you want to load for. Initial cost is a bit, but can get it much cheaper than you think. Shoot me a message if you have any questions. Don't want your thread going too far sideways
  16. If you reload, or get into it, 20 Prac is the way to go. Similar to 204 and super easy to reload for. Neck down 223 case and done. Depending on bullet, can get anywhere from 3-4000fps with little/no pelt damage.
  17. This has taught me two things: 1) When prices are low and product is available (like 3 years ago), buy buy buy 2) The next rifle/cartridge(s) to purchase. Over the last two years, there always seemed to be two in stock when nothing else was 350 Legend and 6 Creed. Both will handle any game in the lower 48. That being said, best thing to do is be a regular at LGS, talk to the workers/owner and be consistent. Things are coming back quickly. I'm an hour west of you, but I'll keep a lookout for .204
