We always use 7’ medium weight fast action bait casting setups spooled with 20 braid and 15 to 20lb fluorocarbon leader about 7 to 10” long to the jig. The bait caster allows you to stay on your jig better

Good morning out there. We finished 8/14 (4 kings, 3 steelhead, and the Atlantic). All the boats around us were hooking up too. At one point all 4 rods took hits at the same time. Awesome morning out! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

We ended 6/10 this morning. We were never able to dial anything in consistently. We hit fish in 120 and we hit fish in 300. Most of our hits came on torpedo divers off the boards. 4 kings(1 mature, 1 juvi, and 2 skips), 1 steelhead(lost some nice ones due to acrobatics behind the board) and 1 nice laker.
