Went for an evening troll from 6:30-9:30 and it felt good to be back on the water after a two week hiatus. Set up a three rod walleye program just south of Densmore creek in 35 fow. Ran a spread of little ripper Reef runners on boards and threw in a flicker shad on a flatline also. Picked up three quick white Perch on the Flicker Shad, then banged a nice 20" eyeball on a white ghost Little Ripper, 17' down over 29fow.
All in all, a great day on IBay!

Just a thought, but the brand-new 350 motor in my drag car was running a little hot (200-220) at idle so I changed out the 185 deg. thermostat for a 160 and it runs cool as a cucumber now.
You should still check for obstructions though.
Your killing me pan,
..seriously though, next spring: Sheepshead Unlimited will be having the first annual, invitational BBQ Drum party. Stay tuned fellow sheep-heads.
Since we are talking BEER BATTER here, make sure to add lots of beer to the point that it's runny,..... too thick, and it comes out like a fish-filled donut
3mph may be a little too slow. Try a lure that will run at 4-5mph and troll it next to the weed line, only 15-20 ft. Behind the boat, right in the prop wash. Hold on cuz the strikes are AWSOME!
