  3. I guess everyone has their opinions on fishing the Bay, and casting sticks and blades is OK but if you troll, you may end up with these! This one was 28" long and she's still swimming! Sorry the pic is sideways

  5. You won't have any problem launching, it's a no brainier. Plus, the pike and walleye are biting too!
  6. There's a ton of dead shad floating around in I. bay too, which isn't uncommen for this time of year. Last weekend we even hooked a zombie-shad while trolling. We laughed like crazy 'cuz it even took the spoon in it's mouth!... and the meat just falls off the bone!

  9. We used to spend about 30minutes per fish trying to get the hooks out of the net, wasting a lot of valuble time on a short/hot bite. We ruined a lot of hooks too, that were stick in the mesh. Switched to the black rubber net and haven't had any problems since. Leave the front hooks on,......that once-in-a-lifetime fish may hit from the front!

  18. Browns and sheephead on stickbaits. Perch on minnows.
  19. Check Mark's Leisure Time or McMillin Marine, both Yamaha dealers. It may just be the carb/s need cleaning by taking apart and soaking in carb cleaner. I troll with a 1962 15HP 2 stroke that purrs like a kitten, you just have to take care of them like its your baby! dE\/-0///////

    Long Pond? ..???Who cares?.....The I. bay perch are in shallow!
  21. There may be walleyes over 20lbs. in there too! (ask the DEC) ..........With a billion alwives to feed on they don't chase lures much.
