Horible!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking for a Aluminum boat if any one happens to know where there might be one for sale. Used in the 18-20ft range, maybe a little smaller if set up right. Looking to fish the big O and Erie, so needs to be a fishing style like the Crestliner / Alumacraft/ Lund/ Sylvan. Any leads would be GREAT, these boats are hard to came by still in good shape!! Very slow pickin's with clear water all over the place. Took our first fish in about 13fow, which ended up being a laker that took our bobmer offering. A while............ later finally hooked up with a Brown off the Yo Zuri that has been hot for us this year. Then a very long waite and the board fire's wich thought to believe was a small Brown untill i tried to release the board!! Once i pulled on the line Screamin Real!!!! Swimmen 150 ft. back off the board at one sec. the next out 575.....King! Then before we knew it another rod fired!! Double finally. This ended up being our biggest Brown of the year at right around 12 1/2 lbs. Once we finally worked the King in it was a pretty colored 15 lb'er. Had another solid rip off the rigger that we missed a short while later ( I hate missing Kings)! Thats how we ended our day at 4-5, not a banner day but the double def. help out. -Jakey Baby- Matt

I have a 22ft Chris Craft that wieghs in the ball park of 3300lbs. It is pushed by a 4cyl. 180hp Mercuiser. I have 2 prop's and not sure wich one will work better for trolling and top end..?? More so for trolling but i guess i should be more conserned with the right one! I have a 14.5 x 19 that i believe came with the boat when i bought it..?? The other is a 15 x 21, i have no clue on wich one is better suited for the motor and Alpha outdrive! Any help would be great!! Yes it is a 4cyl. mercruiser with the alpha 1 lower unit. Are you guys talking about the brass tube that shifts the motor into gear...??? And yes i drain the lower unit oil every fall and refill in the spring.

Had the boat out yesterday and had some problems with my cables. When i would drop into gear it would just grind untill i really drove the throtlle handle forward for it drop in gear. Is this a sign of bad cables/ dry cables or does it just need some adjusting?? At times also, if when wanting to drop back to neutral and or reverse unless i really slam the handle to the postion the motor will just cut out! What a pain when trying to dock!! Go with the electric you will be alot happier in the long run!!!! Last year i had 2 electric and 2 uni-troll's on my boat and what a differnce between the 2 when you are running them at the same time! With nothing else said..... I have 4 electric's now . Matt -Jakey Baby-

Water had pretty good color again and the fish were active. We went 18 for 23 on the browns, one brown even had about a 6 inch goby in its mouth and still took are offering! Late in the moring we ended up take another good rip of the rigger wich ended up being ANTOTHER 21lb KING!!! Sorry no pick i forgot the camera . 30lb for Salmon i would run at least 1200 ft, you never no what can be at the other end!! I had a 27lb King hit a S/d fly combo off the ball 15ft and the fish never really truly stop till 850ft . What would a 40lb'er do..?? I would fill you reel to the max, givin you will cut and trim through out the season, plus the fuller your reel is the more line you will get back with each crank of the handle. Matt -Jakey Baby-

Here are a few pics with my 2year old son Landon with his 1st Brown Trout in then first minute of fishing on the big O!!! This is Landon on his 2nd Birthday doing a little night fishing for walleye's last July! And here is one with a nice Northern we picked up wile trolling for eye's, he Loves this game!

I am looking in to possably buying some Okuma Convector reels. Any one have any experience with this reel? Im thinking they are right in my price range since im buying 4-6 of them, and they look alot more durable then the magda pro's that i have now! Im planning on using them for planner boards and downrigger's so would the 30's be good enough? Any help would be great!! And if you happen to have any let me know . Thanks Matt -Jakey Baby-
