Yea I know it just drives me crazy every second that I'm not in the woods. From the moment I wake up till the time I close my eyes ALL think about is whitetails! And to top it all off its my wife birthday on Saturday, probably one of the best days to be in the woods this season, and I can't hunt!!!! Might have to give her the boot, thus November birthday crap is for the birds, unless of course it's your own.

More like the whole month of November... lol

Congrats that's a huge bodied deer! I think I have made the decision that I'm throwing in the towl for this week and taking Monday- wendsday off next week instead. Just hope the big boys arnt all tied up with the girls.

What's ur take on when they will be locked down though. Sometimes that can be worse hunting then hunting over pressured state land in hot weather during the rut IMO

I'm at work today debating wether I should cancel my vacation and move it to the beginning of next week when the Temps come down a little bit. Just worried the big boys will be locked down by then and I won't see them???

That's what I keeping telling my self, sit tight and it will happen. I lease 200 acres with all the food plots and that kind of stuff and also have a few other ma and pa spots. I just love chasing big whitetails so if it happens great of not I'm doing what I love to do! But...... I am really hoping for that great factor!

Sat ALL day today with little action. Small 6pt at 9ish this morning and a group of button bucks and yearling does this evening. Have to work tomorrow then back in the tree for the remainder of the week.

Yea it's been extremely slow for me but others are having tons of action. All day sit for me just have to bounce around ad the wind continues to switch. I deer sighted to this point

Well the wind completely switched direction so I had to leave. Headed few miles north and just settled in to a stand on the edge of my some pretty thick bedding. A pond 10 yrds behind me hoping catch a thirty cruiser mid day. Then back to the 1st property once the wind switches around 2 ish

Finally just had a 6pt come through Cruzin
