  1. C'mon Scott we know you want back in lol
  2. It's simple trigonometry right?? The farther foward the pulley is the more level the boards will ride with the boat?
  3. Just because you are a charter does not mean you can win a tournament...... and that's a fact!! If you look around also there are a bunch of charter guys with big boats that are using alot smaller boats to strickey tournament fish with. Less gas and much faster to get to where you need to go. That being said the rules are layed out the way they are so fish them or dont. But I do agree with Rick the open division is there to get more people involved that normally wouldn't, so let it do just that! PS........Take my baby's lollipop and we are going to have a problem!!
  4. I'm just took my duel planner board setup apart so i can have two singles. Any tips on how and where to put the reels and pulleys for the best performance? Also how do you guys have the pulleys attached to the boat, with the same style clamp as the reels?? Thanks
  5. For salmon the best way is place a bead stop roughly 10ft in front of the business end. You replace the rear pinch pad (I run offshores) with a big swival. This alow the board to move freely down the line and let's the fish take line without pulling the board under. All this being said with the fact that the pinch pad on the front must release. I use Sam's Pro releases on the front, they are adjustable so when the fish hits the board releases just like a downrigger would.
  6. Great job! You can really see that green water that the Genny has right now! I sure hope it moves down a little ways!
  7. I have two brand new Cannon 18 in gimbal mount trax for sale. I bought them a few weeks ago and decided not to use them. Will sell the pair for $50 shipped! I can add pics later today if needed. Thanks
  8. Berts, Cannon, and Trax Tech are All universal
  9. I just switched out my front pinch pads on my off shore boards with sams pro releases. And they are awsome! When a fish hits the board releases a falls straight back. No board pulling back when trying to fight a fish. Pops easy for changing and reseting your lines. I highly recommend them!! http://www.anglersavenueproshop.com/silver-horde-sams-pro-release/

  13. Never thought in a million years I would spend over $200 on a pair of sunglasses. But once i bit the bullet I went with Costa Tuna Alley's and absolutely love them!! Worth every penny IMO. The clarity is unmatched. The only pain I have with them is taking care of them like my kid lol
