Congrats on the bird! I agree on the corn deal also, theese pics are of home grown corn that we planted on our lease. Last night I whent through with the 4 wheeler and layed some trails down to funnel the deer to me rather than sitting over standing corn that I cant shoot my bow into. O yea and it actually worked!!

Best part of the video is hearing your response to the "miss". Wish the camera would have been rollin when you found him because im sure the response was much different! I too am trying something new this year, being hunting just enough to get my fix and wait till the goin gets good. Past years I usually hunted 5 out of 7 days a week at the very least. I pretty much have the whole month of sweet November off, and thats when my wife will have to pry me out of the tree!

Nocturnals are the only Rage product I will use! They are great. From what I have "HEARD" the green ones will last 50hrs and the other colors only last something like 16hrs. Not sure if its completely true but sometimes to think about. I shoot the red and have not had an issue yet.

What it looks like on both sides of the deer all the way till you find it. Given a good shot is made, but then again all broadheads should if the placement is correct. ........
