    Does anybody know if there is anywhere in The Rochester area that rents trailers? Im in the process of buying a new 24ft inboard that unfortunately does NOT have a trailer and need to get it home if the survey passes! Any help would be Great!! Thanks Matt

    Yea im pretty sure I just have to run the power wire from the switch to the battery with a inline fuse. Im going to take care of it this weekend because as of right now my boat is goin up for sale!

    We also let our observer fish with us on Friday. He had never fished the lake before and was excited to give it a try. We let him reel all 30-40 fish we caught and some real nice ones at that. He caught on what was going on very fast. I think and hope he had a great time, I also payed him $100 for gas and what other expenses he had. I also let him know that if he wanted to ever fish again to save my # and I would be happy to take him out again. Fair? I thought so.....

    The fish will be where the food is, whether it be 70deg or 40 deg. We caught all our Kings yesterday in 44deg water on the surface and 40 deg dwn 45.

    I installed a Raymarine x5-R auto pilot this year. I have a sub troll and my boat that has worked great for years , untill the auto pilot was installed! If the a/p is on stand by it seems to be ok but once I set it to auto the sub troll drops speed and temp goes crazy, and sometimes doesnt read any thing at all! I tried moving my power's around on my bus bar but nothing changed. I also have both units switched which are located right next to each other. Anyone have this happen? Thanks Alot, Matt

    You would need the tx- 44 for copper. A 10 color core is about max for the offshore's.

    I agree I have done it in the past just for the experience and to learn and that's it, not a paycheck. I think the biggest reason to pay is to help them out with there fuel to get back and forth from an event.

    The maxima last forever, very little memory, and have never had it break! IMO best line out there for trolling. For 100 bucks you can get a monster spool with about 2600 yrds.
