  1. Yes it could be right with current. I have seen 3 mph sog with .5 down speed. I wouldn't worry about it but would make sure on a calm day. [ Post made via Android ]
  2. Good job. Better than nothing. And of course you got out with your dad makes it even better. [ Post made via Android ]
  3. The bulb Is the first thing to try good to replace them every other year. Or atleast have a spare one. [ Post made via Android ]

  6. I'll take them. Can I pick them up. [ Post made via Android ]
  7. I know the elite5 has contours on it but the chip is way more detailed and accurate. I have a platinum chip. And love it. Not sure about mark-4 though sorry. Dave [ Post made via Android ]
  8. I think you have to get the good gold tips. Bought my first dozen almost 20 year's ago. Still have 5 left. Now to be fair I do have some newer ones that have never seen a broad head cause there garbage. But like I said they are cheap ones that the bow shop threw in for me. I also have new Easton Fmj's. And every deer season the same old goldtips find there way into my quiver. They have been shot from many bows refleched even more and yet still get the job done. The bottom line is all brands have cheap stuff in the long run you always get what you pay for. Lower grade arrows are not as straight and consistent for weights both of which make for an inconsistent shot. IMO Dave [ Post made via Android ]
  9. They will ship to your home my dad is a nut about Suttons he ordered like 30 of them 2 years ago. Dave [ Post made via Android ]

  11. Ed that stinks. Try a Sutton44 hammered for me or a black and purple with white back. Maybe a silver and black evil eye. Lol [ Post made via Android ]
  12. Way to go rabbit [ Post made via Android ]
  13. Good job ed. [ Post made via Android ]
  14. Adam maybe he saw that on tv. I know every time I squeezed the trigger the last thing I wanted was to wound. Not to mention the 5.56 is not .223 it's a hotter load. And you would have to be an idiot to use a military or a fmj on game. But to go back to post with right bullet and right placement the .223 is extremely deadly on deer. I have used it and still do. Is it the best no but in the right place and with the right shooter it's plenty. And no it's not the only rifle I own, and yes I reload and shoot alot. [ Post made via Android ]
  15. No the clutch setting. Its the knob on the side looks like a star. Should be set so it just holds the ball. That way if the ball gets hung up on bottom or goes all the way to boom you won't loose it. [ Post made via Android ]
  16. No pike. I would try 20 to 40 ft. On West side. Of course south end from the drop off to about10 ft always produced for me in the past. Good luck hope you get the kids onto some fish. [ Post made via Android ]
  17. Good job Ed. Can't wait to get out again. Thanks for the great report and tell hoot hi for me. [ Post made via Android ]
  18. Frisco you are hard pressed to have all speeds read the same. The probe just gets you an idea of what the speed is. It's like a car there not perfect you will have to play a bit. [ Post made via Android ]
  19. Magazines are a common cause of feeding jams in all guns. That's the first place I would look. That's why I always test and marked the ones I used for overseas. [ Post made via Android ]
  20. I know for other types of fishing it's used for an attractor. Ie bait fish chasing food. But like rabbit said weed catcher to although I use them alittle farther up the line when weeds are bad. [ Post made via Android ]
  21. Braid spins on spool to. You have to tape it or use a few raps of mono. [ Post made via Android ]
  22. I killed them April 5th on Cayuga. Was using big streamers with 3 hooks and home made mylar trolling flys. Run 100 to 150 feet back. No lead needed. You could but I don't. The thing to remember is with calm water and Sun it will be a waste of time doing it. You don't need the boards to do it. Oh the flys I tied are like the ones you would use for a flasher. 23. Oh the moor cable is the main from unit to antenna. Ended up cutting twenty feet of coated cable off to. [ Post made via Android ]
  24. Let's see planer mast broke, cable for moor shot. Coated cable wound up on shaft. Ball bounced off other rigger while on way up lake, by by ball 400 feet of cable and release. Got two Lakers through one back only to find out it was a keeper. A couple bird's nest to. Should have stayed home popped pain killers and had a shot o Jim. [ Post made via Android ]
  25. True but heavy wind and waves solo is not so fun. Mark thanks I was thinking same thing. I think I will put in at Myers then go West side. I have big land locks on the mind. Did well a few weeks ago with bad weather. I'm thinking overcast flat lining flies. Dave [ Post made via Android ]
