    I have a scotty and cannon downrigger for sale. $350--- 1x scotty 1116 depth power (high speed, 300ft of coated cable) $150--- 1x cannon mag 10A $50-- cannon mag10 motor (tested on battery and worked fine, inside looked great, bought to replace 10a with auto stop and never got around to it)

    I have what I believe to be a Scotty 1116 depth power down rigger. I would like to trade for a HS Cannon (to match my boat). It's a great down rigger, I just figured I'd have a better chance trading a Scotty for a HS Cannon than vise versa. Comes with 300ft of coated cable. PM me if interested.     Also check out tin boats.net they got some resto jobs that help out. I just put a new floor in a 18ft SC superfisherman and it's not that difficult at all. Transoms a little more intense but easily doable with a little elbow grease. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    You can jump the trim solenoids to see if one or both are blown. I can't exactly tell you how but if you google it, it's quite easy. There's likely a YouTube video out there as well. If nothing happens then you might be in the same boat I was just in last week where I had to buy a new trim motor. My mercs a 1987 and I had to take the motor off with a cherry picker to get to the back screw to replace trim motor. Easy job, just a little time consuming.     Man I didn't get on the water till about noon. There was a nice mud line... Saw a boat or two hit a skipper but I couldn't believe going through the Mud line a couple times we had no hits at all... Only hit it for about 2 hours. I think Mexico hates me lol.     Thank makes sense after checking the wave report. Tomorrow should be a better day I hope! I was looking at the wave report and today looked like hell out there and if if sucks on the map images... it's gotta be even worse on the water.
