  1. i have a garelick adjustable bracket, i was wondering if i bought a mercury 9.9 prokicker if i can use it with this bracket. the motor has power trim, so im not sure if i can use it with a adjustable bracket

  2. Seems like most use the length of the rod, say 8 - 10 feet. Are you planning on using wire, superline or mono for your Dipsies? We just set up a pair of wire rods, also using the Walker 107s - just waiting for later in the season so we can use them.

Using braid only. I guess that will get them down a bit further than using mono...but I guess i'll need to do a little adjustment to the ratio as braid in the 25lb variety is thinner in diameter than 25 mono. I dont intend to do wire as I dont want to completely change my poles out with ones that will accept wire.

You dont need to change poles. Just heat the tip, pull it off and put a twilli tip on. There like 9 bucks, You will want to run wire after you take your first diver shot and your cant reel any line in from fleas. Trust me

  3. If you want kings you want wire divers. Wire divers fired about 5 to 1 over Riggers for me. I bought rods for spring browns this yr so I didn't have to switch line and what not. My brown rods are accudepth 8rods ft med lt with okuma magna reels in size 20. Only used these once on sat ,I don't like the reels. Should of got convectors. For summer I have 47lcs for wire divers. Convector30 for Riggers and 5 color leadcore. Clarion 553ls for 300the and 400 copper. But like tom said tekotas and saltist are the way to go.

  4. after playing with swim noodles and everything else, i found its easier to just wrap the fly leaders around the spin docs. but everyone knows what happens then you get a kink every 3 inches in your leader. i found a bag made by a walleye angler from out west. it is awesome. its called walleye one spinner bag. look it up on youtube and facebook
