Had an awesome time and as LEs said, very cool experience the past two years on this forum and an excellent time meeting Les in person and fishing with him for the first time. Finally boated my first salmon and learned a bunch about these kings. After a hit, slow the boat down and clean the rods up to get em in. As for straightening the hook..... I sure hope slowing the boat down fixes that. Man, we lost a couple beauties on Atomik fly hooks that straightened right out.
Was great to have a couple of real good fisherman aboard. Great job George and Les.
Haha. A sand shark eh? Ill have to ask walt about that one! We headed out resk early to go way out to the middle so not too many drinks the night before. 😮
Was pulling out of sandy about 4am and saw hundreds of small fish jumping out of the water all over. Right between the yaught club and mouth. Anyone ever seen this? Ive heard of flying fish, are they in lake o?
Hey there Les. Well, so far do good on the welds on the trolling plate!!!! Will likely fabricate an aluminum replacement this winter though. Even running it up concerns me the welds could break again when running on plane. Kevin from the wilson marina came and fixed my auto pilot. Now this is the wsy to fish!!!! Gosh. Takes all the stress out of trying to rig and keep the boat strait.
I cant wait yo hit lake o. Will give ya a shout. Fall derby will be starting soon.
Well. The kids had fun. The fishing was rough. Not even marking much. Got each kid a smally but man o msn. Whats up. Canandaigua hasnt been all that good the past few times i have been there????
Either buy a tire and rim for a spare or keep and old tire and get it mounted on a spare rim. Just some advise. A flat always happens at the worse time and u can keep one of ur old ones to limp home
Just a heads up that i got hammered by these little biting flies yesterday. I didnt have anything on board but its the first thing im buying today. 10 hours of wacking flies off my ankles drove me nuts
Remember bug spray guys!
