  1. My first year keeping my boat on the river in Rochester and the bottom looks to be a mess. Wanted to try power washing and acid washing myself. I'll put tarps down when using acid to cover trailer. I heard muratic acid works just as well as store bought stuff at west marine. Not sure though? I'll buy something safer at west marine for the motor, drive and trim tabs. Am I on the right track? Any advise or guidance? I figured you have to clean each year once so why paint the bottom and keep a nice clean look? Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

  7. My daughter and I went out and we started at the mouth w the pack and she had a nice one on FF off the 30 dip set over 20fow but she got the fish to the back of the boat and gone! Tried everything to get a bite through 930 but nothing. Tried jplugs, spoons, FF. 50 foot leads. Tight leads. 8 to bottom over 20?fow but nothing. What's working? I did see most were using planer boards so maybe u have to get the lures farther from the boat? Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

Brought my neighbor who hasn't been out fishing on a boat since the 60's so the pressure was on! 😃 Found cold water around 150 and worked our way out. Kept a side of the riggers on the bottom and picked a couple of lakers up on yellow tuxedo Kept the other riggers at 80 and picked up a nice king on ff. white glow flasher w green dots and green fly.
