My first year keeping my boat on the river in Rochester and the bottom looks to be a mess. Wanted to try power washing and acid washing myself. I'll put tarps down when using acid to cover trailer. I heard muratic acid works just as well as store bought stuff at west marine. Not sure though? I'll buy something safer at west marine for the motor, drive and trim tabs. Am I on the right track? Any advise or guidance? I figured you have to clean each year once so why paint the bottom and keep a nice clean look? Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

Wow. Glad you did so well. I only have a few plugs but will pick a couple up and try getting a fire tiger if they have one. What's wrong with the hooks? Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United -

Hopefully we have a few more weeks. What boat r u in? Did u catch mainly on plugs or what? I'm definitely too deep but I threw everything at em! At least it was slow for others. Felt so bad I didn't land any I took off to laker country to put something in the boat for my daughter. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Appreciate the info Cheers. I'll try 5 down. I definitely wasn't fishing that shallow. Maybe I was way under em. I did see folks were scooting right along though! I'll ker the speed up too. Maybe we'll connect soon. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
My daughter and I went out and we started at the mouth w the pack and she had a nice one on FF off the 30 dip set over 20fow but she got the fish to the back of the boat and gone! Tried everything to get a bite through 930 but nothing. Tried jplugs, spoons, FF. 50 foot leads. Tight leads. 8 to bottom over 20?fow but nothing. What's working? I did see most were using planer boards so maybe u have to get the lures farther from the boat? Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

Txs Les. Well. Ms Kate just rigged her first dipsey and rigger so I hope we at least pick up a lake snake to put a smile on that face. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
Heading out of Rochester with my 12 yr old daughter for a fun instructional day and hopefully land a couple. We are late. But no pressure. Let's see what happens. Give me a shout if anyone wants to work together. Going to hit Lakers first to get a little action. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Snuck out of work early for a couple hours of fishing. Brought my neighbor who hasn't been out fishing on a boat since the 60's so the pressure was on! 😃 Found cold water around 150 and worked our way out. Kept a side of the riggers on the bottom and picked a couple of lakers up on yellow tuxedo Kept the other riggers at 80 and picked up a nice king on ff. white glow flasher w green dots and green fly. Stayed in 150 to 220 but picked the king up over 150. Good time. Headed out again in the am! Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
