Had whitefish on the grill a week ago. Fantastic! Couple of pound fish went for a magnum spoon. I hope the kings would learn from their distant relatives whities how to bite!

Any other, negative experience? Did brown discoloration came off with Simple Green? I just used it to wash the boat after winter storage. It is great stuff to wash off surface gunk/oil/ greese but does very little to any discoloration in gelcoat. That is why I asked you about acids. They do magic (I was told ) to bring the colors back but are not good for trailer and user from what I gather.

I have 1990 boat in amazing shape without bottom paint. I have been keeping it on the trailer and launching it every time. It is a big pita especially early in the morning in hight of the season. What is the danger/ downside of keeping it for a month in the water on the marina of Salmon river. Are bottom cleaners/acids bad for yoour gelcoat? Do i expect to see lots of algae growth?
Please, chime in. Mike
I spoke to Yamaha tech service and they told me that trolling is worse for large engine than running due to suboptimal temperatures in the block and significant carbon deposits. I troll with large 2 strokes and I gun it for about 5 min wot on the way back. I would also use anti carbon additives like ring free.
Hi everybody
Finally, I got this weekend free to fish and i need to orient myself. We launch from slamon river. From what i understand from my "intel", brown action is slow to nonexistent in the area. What is happenining and where? Any help would be appreciated. No spot burning and you can always pm me.

Howcome your oil is mixing with gas? I have seen oil with water mixture but never with gas. You also might be able to fit Mercury 8-9 hp pump because it is all rebranding Tohatsu.

Hi everyone
I am about to pull the trigger on Lowrance hds genII unit and I can not decide between 83/200 and 50/200 frequency ducer. What is community opinion for best one for trolling in up to 200fow? Please, help. I want to use it this weekend.

We have been using Raymarine 6001 a/p for 2 years now. I would go with hydraulic drive if your main steer is hydraulic. Just keep in mind that they do not work well in pounding seas and low speed. Your engine would not have enough thrust to correct your deviation.

What I am referring to is that a kicker mounted off midline would theoreticly push boat to opposite side. This also would affect an ability of autopilot to steer the boat. Is this side thrust unnoticeble?
Mike
Hi everyone
Not to steal this thread, but my buddy and I decided to put a kicker on his 21 ft Parker sports cabin. Do you have to oversteer with it to compensate for side position of your thrust, especially since we use an autipilot for trolling? Also, do you think you can get by by using 6 Hp toshatsu?
Any brakets for using swimming ladder out there? All kinds of help and suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi everybody
I was told that closer to main salmon run there is a trolling technique, used mostly in the dark to use a rowboat and troll some special lures behind it. Does anybody have any info/comments on it? It is done around the mouth of Salmon river. Any help would be appreciated.
