In in defense of tacklebuster, he did say this was a trial run. He did state that things will change and get better with more participants. The participants are the ones that make the derbies work. A definite must to add a lake trout division. This will attract many more entries. In my opinion, brown trout really don't fit those dates. But you do land a few. I'm on board either way with or without the lake trout division. I fish 3 to 5 times a week. The more possibilities i have to win cash, I'm there. Let's do this. Tacklebuster, add the LT and I feel this could take off. We all understand this is work in progress. Changes will happen, fine tuning will take place. We are fishermen, we are born with patients. This is great. I love it. I'm downsizing my riggers from 4 to 1. We all know now that we can run all poles off 1 rigger. I'm so excited. I'm putting my riggers on the classifieds today. Oh and I caught a 41lb king on 6lb test with a 4lb leader. What a screamer, he took out almost all 2000 yards off my reel. Had him on the boat in under 5 minutes. What a great day that was. Oh and it was my bait cast reel. Then the king flopped and fell out the tuna door. Crap. He was gone. My camera was broken. I was fishing alone. Your right, all of us that has been doing this for decades are clueless. If you really are catching that many. Where's the pics. "If you got the right gear". Then I'm sure u own a camera. I don't think I've ever read a report of someone catching that many Browns in one day. Then throw a winning king on top of it. "Fish story's"... they must of been fishing the hatchery ponds. With nets. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

They are catching brown trout. Combination of lures. Bay rats, spoons, etc. Brown trout are in the bay for the warmer water. They will be moving to deeper water once lake warms up a bit. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
