I find it hard to believe that the rep told me that he has never had a problem with the finish on these spoons. Its not every style but some of these finishes are just junk.I Pay almost $8 apiece frome bass pro for these spoons and they are freakin junk. I will call again in the morning and let them know im not the only one! Thanks for the input guys!

Wondering if anyone else has had a problem with the finish on stingers? I have pulled brand new stingers for a few hrs and when i pull them up the paint and clear coat is just flaking off! I fish the mags med and smalls and have had problems with most of them.( Just painted ones) the stickers are fine. I spoke with a rep and he told me hes had no problems with them but i find that hard to believe because i have over a dozen that are doing this.They have not been dragged on bottom or abused in any way. Im not talking about normal wear and tear either its way worse than that. Here are two that i fished sunday id like to say i caught so many fish on them that they wore the finish off but i never caught a fish on these ones.I even have a few that were clear coat and black when i dropped them but when i brought them ep they were bare metal! I wouldnt mind as much if they were inexpensive spoons!

I have hade one friend give me gas money one time and i appreciated it. I have one buddie who gets on my boat every time and says i cant believe how sweet that merc 9.9 is! it still burns gas and it wasnt cheap! This guys tighter than bark on a tree! When i trailer to fair haven fron cayuga its $80 just to get the boat there. I have heard that if i paint my torpedos weights they will cut through water better and quieter is this true? They are just bare lead now. If so is there a preferred color or does it matter? Thanks guys

They say you have better luck with a smooth weight. Cuts through water better i guess? Just tap it back to shape with a hammer its soft enough.

A friend of mine called to book a charter with this gentlman. Upon speaking with him he said it was very apparent that he has little or no knowledge about trolling. When he asked if he was a licensed charter captain he studdered a bit and told him he was not.He also does not have a guides license. He replied that hes just looking to make some extra cash! My friend reported this to the DEC and they said they will be in touch with him to let him know that he is in violation of the law and that they have to report him to the FEDS. But he will only recieve a warning. Just some young guy who did not check the rule book i bet. Maybe this will help him go about it the right way?

Do you mind if i ask how much you sold it for? I have a 87 hardtop islander fully rigged and was thinking about upgrading to a bigger boat.Just curious what i should ask for mine if i decide to sell. Thanks

Can someone explain to me what the difference between a chartplotter and a fishfinder is? Im trying to figure out exactly why you use them and what there purpose is.I feel a lil dumb asking what a chartplotter is because the name is self explanitory i guess but i dont know anything about them or why you need them. I live is springs and i wouldnt try it.I check it almost daily its very low.Head up to aurora (few miles south)to long point and you will be able to launch fine.Launched my 22 ft islander ther with no problems sunday.

In ny it can be used for( snow geese) only but you can download anything you could ever want call wise.

This is a great unit it can be controlled up to 700yrds away with the remote. It also can run a decoy (jack n the box) remotely as well. It can also be docked with mp3 and several others.I have this one programmed with 50 calls coyote calls,distress calls,crow,fox and many others. This unit can also be customized with any calls you may prefer simply by going to the fox pro website and downloading the calls of your choice.I hunt mainly coyotes with this but i also have this loaded with crow distrss calls and we have won several crow contests as well. I am selling this because a friend fell on hard times and sold me his fox pro infinitiy which is next step up from this one.

If you have an i/o you have to purchase the bracket that mounts on your outdrive. This will only work on a twin outboard setup.
