Did pretty well I'd say for newbies to seneca. 20+ fish from 6am to noon. 4 good sized landlocks, 5 rainbows, 2 lakers and a bunch of small shaker landlocks. Caught fish on dispeys leadcore and riggers. Hot spoon was by far michael jackson stinger in both uv and glow. Thanks to erabbit for some help in getting us on fish. Today was a nice substitute for big O fishing. Sent from my VS910 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Are you talking comp. and collision insurance? Or the tow and emergency service that is $60/yr? Sent from my VS910 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

For a weekend warrior I am more than satisfied with the success I have with my current program. If you are a professional you may care. To me the more important thing is what's behind the dipseys. Fish do not eat fishing line of any kind. I am not lacking in success and do not fish tournaments therefore I will stay "disadvantaged". Sent from my VS910 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Ran 2 dipsys all weekend with 50lb power pro. Both had fleas everytime they were brought in. They may be a hassle but have not fish because of them. I will not be switching to wire. Copper is enough hassle to deal with. No convincing this guy wire is better other than flea-less. Sent from my VS910 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

For Sale : USA Reiter's Marina
sammyslayer replied to greenhorn's topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
I tried buying a brand new seahunt off them last year and was given the run around for 3 months about how they couldn't get the brand new etec running or couldn't get it in the water. Also the first time I was there to look at it a customer came in screaming and yelling threatening a suit over a brand new motor he had bought that they could not get running. Not to be negative about them but it definatly turned me off to them. Ended up witha bran new lund from martins marina and can't say enough about their services. LO Trolling Boat Recommendations
sammyslayer replied to Dances with Fish's topic in Questions About Trout & Salmon Trolling?
Look into a lund, just bought a new 1900 tyee. I fish LO everyweekend and live on oneida. The boat fishes very well and handles everything quite comfortably. Lots of storage and amenities other brands do not offer. Fished bigger boats and other brand aluminums and wouls prefer my lund almost everyday. Tracker to a lund is a world of difference Sent from my VS910 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Henderson 6/8/13

I am also heading up there wednesday. I will be coming from pillar point and plan to hit stoney thursday and work everything in the area all the way out to the end of the finger. I have had great success so far this year there with many days of over 20 catches. The plan will be browns to start then switch as we get deeper for kings. They are around, just not plentiful yet. Will see how thursday goes as to where i go the rest of the weekend. Sent from my VS910 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
Henderson 6/8/13

The brown bite starts right at the cliffs coming out of henderson. Went 16-21 last saturday on browns in 15-80'. Nothing deeper than 40' down. Ran riggers leadcores and drop sinkers and hit them on everything. No need for the long haul to the islands yet. Heard they may be a little deeper but I have found pounding the shore early produces fish. Two to three colors on leadcore with stingrays worked great. Yellows have been hot out there. Done for now in the playground up there. Sent from my VS910 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

John e powell, fantastic stuff right there. Very informative, it would make sense to me at least to run heavier shorter copper. I don't find it necessary to run a lure 550' back anyways. So if i could run it 400' and achieve the same result in depth that would work. I'm assuming with shorter retrieve distance the gearing may be easier on the arms and hands. The reel weight is something that would might make me think to use a fighting belt to ease the back and arms as well. Thank you so much for your input. I'm sure others will appreciate it as well! What would be the best reel to run 500' of 45lb copper. Does the rod need roller tip, and what length? Also if anyone has a setup for sale let me know.
