Last three ams I've stopped at a spot where I hunt each am there were multiple gobblers going off by 6 am by 615 hens were going crazy and herd toms fly down 630 n once they met up was silent wouldn't even know they were in there I'm guessing if weather stays this way by May 1 there will be hens on the nest and they will be looking hard for the next one to knock up

That's sweet I am going to get a lab soon and work on training her for sheds and down deer as well I'm at 9 for the year beat my last year record with still lots of time doesn't help when I brother old lady out n she picks them up but at the end of the day there all going to my collection lol

I wouldn't honestly know the diff between a coydog look like a coyote beautiful long busy tail dark coat have shot a few myself and I wish I would have seen it barking I turned away thinking wasn't the best ideal to head into thicket w a agressive dog maybe we can chat would love to learn more on coydog n yotes

I had to come back to this post as tonight I did a set for fox n yotes long story short I called a big dark yote in to about 50 yards in hard woods shot it broad side aiming for be lung heart w my 223 this was right at dark he ran off and I got one more shot at him. I waited 5 min and headed toward direction he ran found some tracks in what lil light I had went 20 yards and a yote started barking howling less then what sounded to be 60 yards thru thicket so I backed up debating on starting call back up but was to dark. This yote stayed at the same spot barking howling for 35 min u til I got to truck and couldn't hear any longer I am gonna go back in am and do a set and look for the yote I had to have hit just wondering if anyone herd of a scenario like this it's almost similar to the original post on the page I could have missed but would you think that yote would have stuck around after the shots and running away and me starting to look for him

A couple that made it thru the season one that's missing half his rack already hardly feel like starting the shed season w only one missing half rack so far can't wait till next year thanks for all the advice and encouragement from everyone on the trend some great bucks taken now on to predators n maybe snowmobiling n of course dropping some long beards have a good new year

Ur not kidding have had very few hunts in Monroe county where I've seen double dig does more 1.5 yr old Bucks then anything im guessing all the shots i hear are mostlikly those young bucks seeing i was having hard time finding decent doe to shoot and now i don't want to because id rather keep hope that she will drop a couple baby's
