  1. What is your next boat Pete?
  2. Contact Troutman 87 on this site, he made 16 lb. torpedo weights for me and they are awesome. His name is Harvey.
  3. I think everybody on this site has given you excellent advice. Be patience and your day will come, wait for the best deal that suits your needs. Good luck and great fishing!!!
  4. Absolutely gorgeous steelhead!!! How could you expect anything less from someone on the cover of Great Lakes Angler magazine. Well done Cap't Rick
  5. Steve, the boys from Catfish Creek talk on channel 9 and I believe the Oswego crowd talk on 72. Is that right Mikey P?
  6. Good luck Steve, from what I hear, browns and lakers have been the only game in town as of recently. They say the fleas are real bad. Things should change by the time you get there. Any info I get I'll either send you a pm or text. Slay 'em
  7. Cheap is good but GOOD isn't CHEAP. The way I look at it is to put a couple bucks a day in a jar and by the time your mount is ready you have the cash.
  8. What I like about the Parker is that it has a dance hall for a deck. Nice boat!!!
  9. I've been buying mail order from Cabela's since the '70's. Great company and really good prices. Since they went public 10 years ago, and built very impressive stores, their prices have skyrocketed. We have a store in So. Maine and it's something to see, mostly geared to hunting and saltwater fishing and lots of clothing of all kinds, but the sales tax thing really sucks with mail orders, and their stores do not carry everything the catalog offers. At least they employ a lot of people.
  10. Somebody is getting a heck of a fishing vessel, congratulations to both buyer and seller. Mikey, how did you know it was sold?
  11. You are absolutely correct Mike. I double clicked on the engine picture and you can plainly see extensive salt water corrosion. Nice call, I guess the only option would be to repower if someone was real interested. Of course the interested buyer would always look into a Baha,
  12. Yeah Mike, but doesn't that fall in the category of "Doesn't matter where you get your appetite, as long as you eat at home" kinda thing
  13. Looking at this boat is like looking at a pretty girl, can't keep my eyes off her!!!
  14. You're right Mike, you never know the extent of salt water corrosion, I live 12 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and refuse to put my Baha in it. The first one looks pretty mint.
  15. Nice job Steve, looks like a winner to me, Lol
  16. Mike as a Baha owner I certainly took NO offense to your humorous comment, LMAO. They all have their good and bad, we all know that. I was thinking if anyone on this site could find this gentleman his new ride, it would be you with your extensive knowledge of Penn Yans.
  17. Wow, what a beautiful fishing machine. I'm sure it is well worth the asking price. Good luck with your sale, makes me think about trading up size wise, but I work TOO damn much.
  18. What a GREAT site LOU is, lots of helpful people willing to lend a suggestion to solve each others problems, that's what it's all about.
  19. Capt'n Richard, that's what we've always said over the years, " take what the lake gives you." How appropriate that you are featured on the cover of Great Lakes Angler, well done. Doesn't that give you "Rock Star " status. Lol..................PD
  20. You guys are absolutely right, Boston area driving is NUTS. You really need NASCAR training with no fear attached. It's crazy.
  21. Seems like a very good value to me, nice clean boat ,looks well maintained. Good luck with the sale of your boat.
  22. I agree Richard,it's not fair to generalize, there 1000's of very nice people from Mass. And I have many friends from Mass, but it's the arrogant minority that give them that reputation. Just witnessed road rage from a guy with Mass plates.
  23. Hey Mike, must have from Mass. that's how they act when they come to Maine. That's why they call them Massholes. Lol.
  24. I consider anybody aboard my boat a guest and let them reel in all the fish. It is my pleasure to see the smile on their face when they boat the biggest fresh water fish of their life. Also allows me to make adjustments to my trolling spread to prevent tangles with easy access for netting. I insist on netting the fish, it is an art.
  25. I bought a set of 16 lb. weights from Harvey for my corner riggers mostly to get my fish hawk X-4 probe down with minimal blow back. They are identical to the one's pictured. Works great, I use 13 lb. pancake weights on the boom riggers with angled fin to get as much as I can off to either side.
