  1. I have no idea what leases go for in that area because we've owned our hunting land in Rushford forever, but that's a great area for hunting. Quality and quantity of bucks with plenty of farmland around to help them fatten up.

A couple questions -- What type of take-off and speed do you get out of it with that V8? Does it get up and go quickly from a standing start? I would need it to be a fishing and family fun boat that could be used for occasional water sports like tubing or wake-boarding... Any pictures of the seating in the cockpit? Thanks.
  3. Trying to clean up the garage a bit and have a few fishing/boating items that I'm happy to provide to a fellow LOU member at no cost if you can get some use out of them. May post a couple pictures soon, but here is what I have: - Heavy Duty Boat Trailer Winch - Some rust, but still works quite well if you put a new strap or cable on it. The cable snapped and I just decided to put a whole new winch/strap combo on my trailer. - Trailer Hitch with 2" Ball. Again, has some rust, but works perfectly fine and even has a locking pin that I think I have a key for someplace. - Cheap plastic bait bucket. Not broken or anything, it's just that I have a better one I use like once a year and don't need more than one taking up space. - Aluminum(?) grab rails for a boat swim ladder/platform. - white boat bumper/fender Won't ship these, but can meet somebody at a spot in Lansing to provide any/all of these items to a good home. 4. 2001 Mercury 125EXLPTO 2 stroke carbeurated oil-injected outboard. Rock solid, strong motor that fires right up and never gives me any trouble. All maintenance done every year and has never seen salt water. 4 cylinder motor that uses the 2+2 system where it runs on 2 cylinders at low rpm so it trolls very well down to 2.0mph I have a 4 stroke kicker, so actually put very few hours on this motor in the 5 years I've owned it. Not sure of overall hours, but had a thorough inspection when I bought it and have treated it right. On the boat so you can see and hear it run. Also have video of it running taken today that I can share if interested. $3,000. Cayuga Lake, Myers Point. You can reach me at Six Zero Seven Seven Nine Three Seven Three One Seven.
  5. Sounds like a fun day! Worth getting wet...
  6. Bows are making a nice comeback on Cayuga. Hopefully we're putting some back to fight another day so it keeps improving...
  7. Nice setup! I did a double take because I have the exact same setup right down to the remote troll in the 21' version of the 2001 Trophy. Steering from anywhere in the boat comes in handy! Good luck with the sale.
  8. This was our best of the weekend @ 11lbs.
  9. Nice fish!
  10. Our 8 color did really well this weekend, too.
  11. You have a PM.
  12. bought my Tohatsu kicker from marina in Delaware that sells through Ebay and had a great experience. No sales tax and free shipping: http://stores.ebay.com/Shorts-Marine/_i.html?_fsub=10043981012
  13. Hi Guys. I am already looking forward to spring and summer fishing on Cayuga. Does anybody have dates for this year's tournaments so I can block my calendar? I do see that the Salvation Army indicates their tournament will be July 13-14 (which is actually a Friday/Saturday, so I'm assuming they mean the 14th and 15th). How about the Barney Baldwin Memorial tourney or the Cayuga LOU All? Thanks. Stay safe if you're heading out on the ice! Kyle
  14. Mine pushes my 21 ft Trophy walkaround about 5-6 mph with a full load. Great motor.
  15. Have not been down there during the week this week, but that's what Cayuga looked like near Myers on Sunday afternoon. It was also across from Myers south of Tgk, but got better north of Tgk.
  16. No problem. I went with the other side and used a fixed mount that allows for wireless steering using a key fob. It's awesome to not be tied to the steering wheel all the time. http://remotetroll.com/transom-mount/
  17. I wouldn't. I have the same boat and my swim ladder platform is cracked. Ordered what appeared to be a perfectly good used one to replace it from EBay and it has the exact same crack.
  18. Yep. I was going to fish tonight and figured it would be pretty bad. It rained hard and all the creeks in southern half of the lake were raging...
  19. Cayuga is in bad shape right now. Water clarity is very limited in many spots and storms that just rolled through won't help.
  20. Nice catch! We caught a big salmon at about 7:30 and then never moved another rod.
  21. Just returned from a morning trip out there. The debris is everywhere including some giant logs. Fish are scattered and negative...
  22. Congrats to all the winners and everyone who went out to enjoy the lake. It was definitely a great weekend to be out there. We fished both days and wound up with some nice fish when it was all said and done. We reached deep into the bag of tricks to find something that worked on Saturday and once we were dialed in that pattern Saturday afternoon, that pattern produced well for us that afternoon and early on Sunday. Hit the grand slam both days and Saturday's grand slam of keepers was a first for my boat. Targeted silver fish and picked up probably 10 lakers by accident. None of the lakers were going to go 8lbs plus so we didn't weigh any. We landed probably 40 fish over the two days, with most of them coming on Saturday. We landed a best-ever for our boat 6lb 10oz landlocked that made a brief appearance on the board, plus a 5lb 11 oz brown, and another salmon and brown in the low 5s. We had a couple rookies on Saturday who dropped two big fish at the boat within 10 minutes, so that was frustrating, but I guess that's why it's called fishing and not catching, right? Ran into those crazy currents in the same area both days and the riggers were blowing way back when trolling south -- had trouble keeping the riggers from tripping no matter how much we adjusted things. I don't have down speed, but definitely should have sped up more after hearing your experience, suttontroller... Maybe I need to invest in a probe. See you all out there on the water. Kyle

Looks sharp. Do you have any interior pics that might show seating configuration/condition? Need something that could also serve as a family fun boat on occasion. Thanks.
