    I just finished up trapping the south end and when things were open over Christmas the perch were stacked like firewood in the shallows near the channel, I always thought perch liked deep water. not sure if they would still be there with the ice on.

    If keuka does,t freeze on tuesday night then we will not be ice fishing keuka this year. If its not froze by the second week of January ,then its not going to freeze.

    Im not sure if you have ever saved a person that fell through the ice. The guy I pulled out took hold of the rope under the surface of the water. He totally disappeared when he let go of his sled. I would suggest that your float have a tail with a weight. Also the man was not able to be instructed to put noodle around his neck as he was severely paniced and locked up in a fetal position

    A good feedback section might work, its used on other sites I frequent. I have bought tons of stuff from this site and always wished there was a good and bad feedback section. Buyers can buy at easy when a seller is all over the goodfeed section and avoid like the plague when the seller is on badfeed.

    I have pulled dozens off my pets in the last few weeks as well as 1/2 dz from myself. I work outdoors but haven't been in the woods yet hunting. I saw one crawling on my dogs head and before i could get to it the tick jumped from dogs head and onto my white sock . Trapping starts in the am and im sure I will deal with hundreds before it turns cold.

    If you dont own land then dont bother to push the qdm down my throat . I pay my land tax and my sole purpose is to hunt, I follow the rules but I will not be told how big or small a deer I can harvest on my land. Its too bad the things have horns in the first place, Then the" my deer is better than yours" mentalitity would stop. I live in one of the best deer counties in the state and have never harvested anything bigger than a 7 pt. , I dont hunt for horns, they are still tough after cooking. Fact is I dont pass on anything I can legally harvest because If I pass then the deer runs off the property and is shot by the neighbor .

    I like the ruger 7-22 for use in post safe act NY. My coyotes tend to stay in a 6 foot circle so they aren,t hard to shoot.lol
