We went out of severne,headed accross to the east side an trolled south. We boated 2 lakers in the 22 inch range. Lots of weed mats,a beautiful day to be on the water.

We left out of the state park yesterday afternoon at 4,We ran down to the second fancy house with the white trim and trolled back towards the park.It was a nice time on the water,most of the recreational boaters were gone. We boated 7 lakers and lost a few. we quit about 7.

I had a troller turn 90 degrees right in front of me on sunday at fairhaven. I was able to turn a 180 and slip away with no problem. a few weeks before I was on an east troll and someone else was on a west,we would have passed a 100 yards from each other and been OK I think,This guy got all bent out of shape and started waiving his arms for me to turn away. i try to stay well away from everyone on the water. If you want to see rude try the Hudson river in the spring,I have had many a pleasure boater fly past at full speed not more than 30 feet from the boat.

I have a ladder that mounts on the back of the boat,its a small platform with a step that comes down. I would like to trade for a hook over the side type ladder.

I have been using a 10 color core for the last 2 seasons and have had good luck. I have lots of reels and would like to set up 2 sealine 47's with 6 and 4 color, I want to be able to run them on inline boards. These reel are full of 30lb big game now. 1st question: Can I use the short tidewater roller rods with this setup? 2nd -------- : Best backing and how much? 3rd --------- : I have one full 200 yard spool of 27lb lead. Is 6+4 my best bet or would you do it different?

I saw a couple last summer that bought a used boat that day,trailered 3-4 hours to the launch. They backed in at dusk and the auto bilge started pumping,he pulled out and relized the plug was missing, he went over to the trees and got a stick to use as a plug, they left the launch with the intention of spending the night on senaca lake. I wouldn't sleep a wink.

yes there is one near severne but I have never been there.

I am giong to camp this weekend in fairhaven and if the big lake gets too rough I was wondering about some carp fishing as a backup. Where would you try carp fishing.

I am interested in some things if they get split.

I went to Bass Pro this week and also Dicks and struck out on my trolling needs. Then I went to Hills Valley Streams and not only found everything I needed but also recieved excellent service and expert fishing advice. Its worth the drive, Thank you.

I saw a boat go full speed in through the chanel off waneta all the way to the launch last fall . I went and talked to the man but didn't feel it was my place to tell him how to drive Saw the same boat last weekend out of severne,it may be the same boat if you are refering to the watkins chanel. I wont name name's but it is a charter that I am refering to.
