  1. what type of steering do you have? and do you want your autpilot on your kicker, main, or both?
  2. 100's took a lot of steelhead out deep last year with the cold water
  3. Last spring I jigged for kings out of ibay after trolling for browns in the skinny water. I haven't had a better fight in freshwater than a spring king in jigging gear, hope to try again next weekend.

  6. Talking ice units Les, three buddies with elite 5 and 4 ice machines couldn't mark a thing over 100'.
  7. Lowrance ice units are worthless over 100' from what I've seen

  13. A friend just picked one up from out in Saginaw last weekend, he has a sea nymph gls220(22'islander) also. Looked like most of the room you gain is in the rear which makes for a ton of fishing room.
  14. look in to 1-200' coppers, Will get the depth of core without as much line out. The okuma reels that come with those combos leave a lot to be desired.

  16. Wouldn't the dive bomb be fighting against the pull of the copper if you put it on the copper before it's all the way out?
  17. fished the north end of conesus all last weekend, 10 tip ups in with different baits for well over 20 hours and only 2 pike, 9.5 and 8.9 pounds and one other pulled bait to show for it.
  18. Its entertainment, don't think everything that you see happening on that show is any real indication of what real tuna fishing is like down there.
  19. I was given a bunch of swans 2 years ago from an older gentleman, They are phenomenal spoons, slightly heavier than suttons so they handle speed a bit better.
  20. in the muddy water they aren't too shy, especially the kings that hang out in there!
  21. cabin fever setting in? Probably because there's nothin better than having a fish smash a rigger with 25' of line out.
  22. this winter is shaping like last years which hopefully means another lights out year for the shallow bite, the rochester area warms up prett quick
  23. Just curious what they charged you for the work? I have a few cold waters that I already had "replaced" that still suffer from the same issue(sticky initial drag)
