Got a new graph and got her dialed in, Went after some lakers today and was very pleased with the performance of my hbird 597ci hd.
the approach

there were a couple hungry ones in this group
released and headed right back to the bottom
Beautiful fish, I'm hoping to bring my little boat up to the islands sometime this year to fish. Lived my whole life 19 years in ny and still haven't ever been to the 1000 islands

You'll be fine. I do all my fishing out of a 16ft sea nympth backtroller and a honda 9.9. Erie, ontario, canandaigua. Just watch the weather, head in at the first sign of wind/storm/building waves.

True, honeoye and conesus will be swamped for the next couple days. Might be worth giving hemlock a shot

Looking to upgrade my graph on my boat to a new hbird 597ci hd so I can get gps to mark spots. I've been wondering if I should opt for the slightly smaller screened 587ci hd so I could afford to get the Navionics premium east map card. I fish honeoye, canadice, and hemlock 90% of the time which are pretty much featureless bowls. All of these maps are listed on their site but don't show up as the "hd" maps. Do you think I would benefit from a map chip or would the money be better spent elsewhere
waddaya gettin your lakers on if ya don't mind me askin, I've had great luck with 1oz northland gumballs and white superflukes
