take the tiller handle apart and check the springs/tensioners and make sure they're in good shape. Had to do it on our johnson 30 horse tiller last year

shortly I'm going to add a new graph to my 16' aluminum tiller boat. I currently have a hbird matrix 12 with a transom mounted 200khz transducer. The new graph i'm looking to get is the hbird 597ci hi which apparently has a 200/83khz ducer. Would I be able to mount the new transducer next to the old one and not have any interference? Or would it be feasable to make a board that I could clamp and hang off the bow somehow which is where I would like to move the old graph to?

if you have a boat with enough dependable horsepower to get you out of the bigger waves which is usually the max reccomended hp, a good 1000gph bilge pump, you should be able to point her into any big waves you might encounter to stay afloat. Trying to cross waves or ride with them is a death wish in a smaller open tiller boat

Switched gears and tried some jigging these past 2 days and have had an absolute blast. Landed 6 last night and dumped as many. Today my walleye fishin buddy from school drove out from erie to do some jiggin and we hooked about a 15 and landed half that many. Will get pics up soon [ Post made via Android ]

I make myself coupons for dicks regularly, never ever had an issue. Even buying nike, underarmor, and other stuff that is suposed to be "excluded" from the discount. I've walked in sometimes and said I forgot my coupon in the car and they will more often than not give you a discount anyways.

that sounds awful! prop hit bottom when we were trying to get out in what is normally 12' of water... erie has certainly earned my respect from now on

I've had my 16dt sea nymph in most of the finger lakes, michigan,erie and ontario. Watch the weather, have faith in your motor, have a good anchor/sea bag. Last year we got into some 6 to 7 footers on erie that came outta nowhere with no warning which turned out to be my scariest day boating ever. monsters, I thought they were sheephead but there aren't sheephead in these lakes

Got out at 5 and trolled for 3 hours with only a few hit n runs on lc with a snapweight. Washed about 12 different spoons, 6 sticks and various spinners etc. Found some good stacks of em in 80 fow and dropped a jig down watched it hit bottom on the graph and played cat and mouse and ended up landing 5 decent lakers and dumping about 3x as many. It was the most fun I've had in a long time. Also saw some of the biggest smallies I've ever seen before chasing alewives around it was insane

Depends on what you mean by "long." It takes a good half an hour to travel Hemlock's 7 mile length with 2 people on a 9.9HP at full throttle. Very true lol, I gain 6 mph when I move myself to the front of the boat, pull that maneuver quite often on hemlock [ Post made via Android ]

Just wondering how you keep them in place. I've been using a pinch pad with wire/clipped to the mainline so I can just yank it off while retrieving it. Wondering what others are using
