After some more reserch The snort wheeze is for big mature whitetails and will spook smaller bucks away, that's why it works good in Missouri and not the areas I hunt, so not recommended unless you have big mature bucks in the area. I have found rattling has worked best for me in bow season,have rattled a couple in in gun,works great with the snort wheeze and grunt in Missouri,but haven't had any luck with the snort wheeze in NY.good luck Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

Well,it all worked to a T,almost,a spike horn came out about 5:30 at about 130 yards,I told her to take her time and when ready to shoot,but she missed the deer,she was frustrated,I told her no big deal,everyone misses,we will get him next time,she is 15 and just the expression on her face and how excited she was made my day.
