Saw one doe the same 6 pointer and an 8 about 115" that I passed the second day I hunted. All right before dark

I was deployed with a guy from Georgia and he said he hunts in snake boots and like a mesh gilley suit with just underwear. I was hunting this morning in my bibs and a hoodie and it just didn't feel right.

My dad had this week scheduled off from work but switched to next week. Second week of November is my favorite I always see more mature bucks chasing that week even though I'd say the quantity is usually chasing the first week.

good point never really thought of it like that. I'll usually only call at the smaller bucks when I'm bored.

2nd one didn't respond to a grunt but did the snort wheeze came to about 15 yards looking around.

Nothing since light until the last half hour 2 6 points about 15 minutes apart cruisin for chicks.

Anyone seeing any movement? The squirrel ruts definitely on that's the only chasing I've seen.

I saw an absolute slob chasing a doe on my drive to my new area. Had a couple small ones before legal light and nothing since. I had a dream last night that the speedo on my beater car started working again (weird I know). Followed by a dream I killed a big buck. Well the speedo was working this morning oddly enough...

Had a bigger 6 come by at 5 yards about 30 minutes ago and now there's deer chasing all around my stand so I can't leave.

Not 2 minutes after the guys out of an earshot away a doe and small 6 come flying through

I might shoot the next big squirrel I see... To top it all off the rut is on and the landowner who's property I hunt says her neighbors been riding his 4 wheeler around next to their line around 5 o'clock every night for the past few nights. Sitting here 4:50 he comes walking through checking the stands we have up to see if anyone's hunting. Going over to talk to my buddies dad about hunting 75 acres near Macedon he offered up last weekend after hearing snow this guy. There's always good deer here but I'm sick of the BS from the neighbor for no reason.

Congrats everyone that got one this weekend. Thinking about hunting this evening tomorrow morning and tomorrow evening since I don't have class and can't hunt this weekend. Think there's any sense in doing that with the temps were supposed to have?

I had prior obligations this weekend so I couldn't hunt and next weekend I have Drill For the National Guard. Of course I've seen more people killing bucks the last two days then the whole rest of the season. My 14 year old cousin got his first buck this morning up in the Adirondacks.

You guys should see them on the eastern side of the state. I've never seen one on me whatsoever while hunting in western New York. I've had times at home (an hour or so north of Albany) however where I've had 10-20 walking around on my pants and jacket at a time.

Just got settled in. Last night I got a text after I went to bed that I have permission to hunt 75 acres of land near where I currently hunt. As I'm typing this im covered up in deer and can hear sparring not far off

Just drove around for 5 minutes and saw 3 bucks, 2 were shooters and one of the shooters and the smaller buck were both chasing does. All in different fields around where I hunt.

The apple tree this scrape has been dead for about 3 years and they still make a scrape in the exact same spot every year.

I generally don't and didn't this morning but I woke up at 5 and figured my alarm will wake me back up in a half hour. Then in a "half hour" when I woke up there was light in my window.

Just got out and jumped 2 deer on the way to my stand. Guys when you set your alarms make sure they say AM not PM.

What time do you guys generally get out in the afternoon? Just got settled in now. Seems a little late but I generally don't see deer around here until the last hour before dark
