  1. Finished.....7 for 9.....all lakers....all in 100-130 fow, near bottom. One on the 95' rigger and the other 6 on the same mag diver set back 200'. Great day to be out!!! Til next time.....tight lines! PS: a couple posts back, it was supposed to say my friend's son....not my son! :~ Great job Dylan Malone!!!
  2. Yeah flies down here are doing damage....both on my legs and the 200 dipsy...lol
  3. Guess what...another laker on the 200 diver!!!!
  4. Well it's a laker kind of day....the 200 diver has gone twice more......two more 10lb lakers. And the 95 tiger pulling a moonshine spoon just went and a very nice 16 lb laker!!! So that is 6 for 7 so far!!!!
  5. well it WASN'T a king.....but a new boat record....22lb laker!!!! Wow....45 mins to get in and it ran and ran!!!! Great job Dylan.
  6. 25 mins in and still 600+ of line and pulling hard! This kid is 16 yrs old and muscled and he can barely budge it!
  7. Booya.....200 diver out 750' with a king on. My sons first large king salmon!!!!! Stay tuned
  8. 200 diver again. Over 120'. Bigger laker it appears. Diver is a white pearl glow SD and blue hammer fly!
  9. Yeah......you made it! From reports I was hearing....circle out in front of the chute in 90-130 fow. Seems fish are in close. I will update on here or call u to report if something is hot!
  10. Awesome laker. Kings are around but not as many yet.....but still nice fish!!!!
  11. Will do guys....going out tomorrow morning with a friend and his son, so keep watching for posts! See what I can manage to wrestle up!
  12. 80 rigger again....over 100fow. A 7-8lb laker on the 42 spoon. Lot more marks in the 90-110fow area.
  13. 60 rigger..... Orange crush free slider took a 9lb laker, over a 205'bottom
  14. Sorry I didn't see you Joe. Yeah....I was finally happy to get a king down here now! Slept on the boat for the first time and back at it again this morning! Stop over if you see me around!
  15. So far.....two rips on the 80' rigger. First rip, no one home. Second rip..skippy king! Screen very good in 115-130'fow so far.
  16. Okay.....took a short two hr solo cruise tonight 6:30-8:30. But glad I did! Set up in 100fow, heading north. Rigger at 50' pulling silver/green ladderback NK 28 with an orange crush stinger free slider. And the other rigger at 70' with a 42 second spoon and mixed veggie slider. Then set out a white glow mag diver with a white/pearl glow SD and blue hammer fly. Set back initially at 200..... But as it got deeper and there were marks under 100', I dropped the dipsy's back to 240. There were marks at 130-150 fow, but no takers. Went out to 190 and turned around and headed back SW towards 165 and found some marks and turned west and took a rip on the diver. My guess by head shakes was a laker....but lost it about 1-2 mins in. Decided to make a loop back.....since there had been marks and that one rip. was seeking fish 60-90foot down, so dropped each rigger 10 feet....water temp at 50' was 47 and at 60' was 45. Didn't take long when 80' rigger over a 160' bottom, pulling the 42 second spoon took a rip and was into a very nice 15 min fight with a 19lb king, that put on a great aerial display and ripped about 230foot of line. By the time I had him landed and reset, I had slid out to 190, so headed back on a south troll...took a small skippy king on the silver NK in 160' fow...then pulled lines and headed in. It was flat calm and picture perfect out there! Back at it @ 6am. I will try and put out a more "Bobs Boy" live report... Lol!
  17. Joe....thanks for the great report. I assume this was yesterday 5/29. Glad to know you found a king in there, as that seems to be missing from my three trips this season. I gots my lakers, coho, steelie and brown....but have lost the one king we did manage to get into on the diver. I am hoping to head out on a short trip this evening or for a few hours tomorrow morning and Saturday morning! Maybe see you around! Jason
  18. Brian, that is awesome!!! What a fish it was! Good looking mounts, even if its with a crappy camera!
  19. Following some of your very sound advice I dumped my center rigger to 150' at one point for awhile and it spent most of the day around 125' ....including when I got back into 130fow. I also had my mag diver at a 2 setting back 260', so it had to be 120-130 foot down as well and could not find a laker except the one that hit the 70' rigger. I agree by Father's Day it should be heated.....BUT I WANNA FISH NOW!
  20. AWESOME KING!!!!! Wish I could have been out today! Heck, wish I was out just about everyday!
  21. Good luck!!! Keep us posted. That is a nice fish and not surprised that it came in 175fow. The screen in that area out to 190 was not terrible....just couldn't get fish to hit!!!
  22. Great job and passing on the fishing to kids is priceless!!!
