  1. I will report back I still have 30 lb flea flicker spooled up.. have not heard from anyone how that old school line holds up
  2. From what I was told you will have your hands full running 4 rods at a time between cleaning and number of fish I am going tomorrow but what I was told was you are better off running less rods correctly than more stuffed with fleas. The captn I talked to said riggers were on 10 min clean cycle and wire was 15
  3. Need to get it set in your head you need to be pulling rods every 10 to 15 mins to be cleaned.. it sucks but it's what has to be done
  4. Still have my 30 lb flea flicker
  5. As stated in the above answer from fish hawk... The only thing that matters is what the probe speed says when fish hit and duplicating that number
  6. An old Post from fish hawk Typically the mechanical surface speed will show faster than your probe speed and SOG due to the fact that the water moving under your hull is accelerating as it travels the length of the boat. You can opt to calibrate that if you wish, or you can leave it at factory zero. Transducer location plays a role also. Mechanical speed as we use it is not absolute, but is 100% repeatable. Using your probe speed as a reference point, it doesn't matter if the number is 2.0 or 200 - knowing what the probe speed is at the time of the strike and then duplicating that number is the important thing. 7. Your fish hawk will not be same as GPS speed....figure out what fish hawk speed you want to fish at and don't even look at GPS speed.
