  1. Will do. Sent an email earlier. No response yet. Probably monday
  2. I am planning on upgrading the drags on a few of my convectors but noticed that the only convector model he has listed is the 55. Now I noticed that some of the other reel models listed are the same drag for the 50's though the 20's. So possibly is it the same drag for my 30's as my copper reels with the 55s?
  3. Once I get down to my boat again I'll test mine out to see if it works. My 840 quit so I upgraded to an x4. Never tried to see if it was the head unit or probe. If you don't have one by then I can do the paypal and ship thing.
  4. Sending you a PM
  5. I got one. Where you located?
  6. Bruce, Travis and I hit it sunday morning from 630 to 10ish. Had some streakers come off bottom but no takers. Worked sodus pier heads to chimney in 40 to 60. Had some high marks as well but couldn't get any of the flat lines pulling deep diving thunder sticks to go. How much longer you keeping that boat in the water?
  7. Was curious as to if this happens on the bay? I always wanted to volunteer but have never heard of it there and I know they get a decent return of kings into the bay.

  10. The fish marks on your furano made me giggle. Haha
  11. morning remains south wind til 8 or nine. Should still be able to get that early nite at least before it gets crazy.
  12. 30 lb
  13. Line counters wouldnt really be a necessity with these since depth is by color not distance.
  14. Slammed em on dipsys this past weekend. Hammer time spinnie with ultra green glow Atommik out 275 and white green dot Protroll with glow green hammer Atommik out 300. Judging I was out in 350 to 450 I would decrease those lengths 50 to 100 foot. Fish the marks. If I remember right on a 2 setting depth wise is roughly 3 to 1. Good luck. Fish should start pushing in.
  15. Really? Hm during the challenge I was fishing 2.2 to 2.6 on my Fish Hawk and catching kings at that speed with a good bend in my diver rods. Who knows I'm sure every unit is still slightly different than the other.
  16. Great Time! Without a doubt I will be fishing this again next year along with the Triple Crown that I didnt participate in this year unfortunately. Thank you to Finder's Keeper's for stepping up and running the Tournament this year along with Popeye, Screwey Louies, Tom Allen, and whomever else I may have missed.
  17. You can have too much tackle? Probably explain why it's getting harder to move around the boat.....
  18. Last name is boas. Dan is the father by friends name is Travis.
  19. Trying to put a team together but should be good to go by the 23rd. Can't wait!
  20. I have a friend 2 houses on the right from you that I visit a lot and my boats at my grandfathers right now towards West port bay road on graves point. The nellis's were good family friends of ours and I'm sure you will enjoy that house.
  21. We pulled a 25 between port bay an fairhaven today before coming in. If you want numbers now should probably fish steelhead or browns. Did you buy the nellis's place on graves point?
  22. NICE! Managed a few this morning as well. 28 is a good king compared to most I've seen. 24 pounder won port bay tourney yesterday I believe.
  23. Start in 100. Troll north south out too 150 and back. Early bites key. Fish deep! 90+ down. Our fish came from there. Post how u do.
  24. When I first got into this sport heavy 3 years ago I ran whatever was cheapest and quite simply I could not get a strike on flasher fly. Then one day I saw what became known to me as the green hammer. Ten minutes in the water behind a mt dew spin doctor took my biggest king at the time. I still have that fly no matter how shredded it may be it still produces on days I'm struggling. To this day I only run Atommik. I love em.
