  1. Had a hook break straight off a brand new tournament rig on a dipsy I was letting creep out Saturday morning.
  2. Hahaha. Agreed
  3. Nice job Matt. Everyone will be gunning for you next year. Get that boat sorted out.
  4. Last weekend they were in the 90 150. And 200 to 300. Focus 60 to 80 foot down. Try to get you surface troll at a 2 to 2.5 mph. Best to have a speed and temp unit at the ball but work with what u got. Good luck.
  5. Awesome tournament. Really enjoyed it. This was the first large scale one I've ever done and had a good learning experience. Definitely be back next year. Thank you too the committee for such a great event. Can't wait for 2015.
  6. I'm assuming you mean feet. I run em 5 to 10 feet off the ball and make sure that none of your other riggers are within 10 feet. That's how I prefer to run mine anyways. Can always Put them on coppers or dipsys to really get them out and away.
  7. Dont trust the weather people!!!! Said SW this morning and NOAA said 1 ft or less. Try WNW and 4 to 5s. Anyways I hope pro am is better weather.
  8. That's awesome. Wait until he gets his first major. Then the sickness really takes over.
  9. Curious. I know Sodus has the points system and wondering is Oswego does the same thing and if there scores include points as well.
  10. You were right about holding it down. I assumed just clickin it down would stop it. Thanks again.
  11. Thank Gambler. I'll give it a try tonight and see what happens. I Really hope it's not the board.
  12. Perfect. Thanks
  13. This is the older style cannon 20's I believe (Came with the Boat), anyways the thing flys up and down but say I'm botton bouncing lakers I cant bounce bottom and come up a few feet without the rigger pulling the weight all the way up. It has the auto stop feature but I would assume I could stop it after I pull it up a few feet. If I push the toggle down it stops for a second and wether I continue holding it down or not it starts pulling up again. Not really a big deal for kings but as far as getting down to browns or lakers this makes things kind of complicated and a guessing game with blowback. Any ideas as to if it's supposed to be like this or theres something going on. I've had the slower mag 10's before with auto stop so I'm assuming its the riggers. I replaced the power cables on one of the tow this year and everything internally looked fine and I sealed it up good. Both of them do it.
  14. Stack em up! Looking like a good couple days coming our way.
  15. I love local shops that basically live big lake fishing. The narbys, warrens, all seasons, fat Nancy's and everywhere in between. Cabelas is good for some stuff but your never going to find the selection you will at these other places. Also in my experience their cheaper! Atommik fly. $9.99 gander, $8 bass pro. $7.49 local. But let's be honest Gander is ridiculous in their pricing.
  16. I'm assuming signup for the big fish friday is at Captain Jacks? I was gonna run up and pay for both events this weekend and need to know how much cash to bring for BFF.
