I keep new skin in my pack. My beagle always cuts the tip of her ear, in the cold it will not stop bleeding. Put some new skin on and she is good to go.
I have a savage .17 with the heavy barrel. I call it a .22 on steroids. It is a nice gun to shoot easy to find ammo and it will not break the bank. I don't use mine that unless I and out cracking squirrels. I rely on my 22-250 for fox and coyotes.
Remington does have a recall out on some 700. The 700 they are recalling have a trigger called XMark pro. You can go to Remington recalls put in your serial number and see if yours is recalled. Luckily mine's not.
Looking to buy a 870 super mag. Have been reading reviews and have been reading some bad one's. Like problems when shooting low brass, and problems with trigger. Anyone have any of these problems.
I bought that real/wire set up. I have had no problems. I thought it was a good deal. The only thing I didn't like was the drag. Drag is tough to get set where I wanted it.
