I’m sure this topic has been covered countless times but I’d like to hear from fellow lake o trollers what features/models you do or don’t like , everything I’ve been able to find was more geared to shallow water bass fishing . Currently have two gen 1 HDs 7 , running each as a stand alone gps or fish finder . Would like something with and 8-12 inch screen . Ease of use is a plus as well Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

As you can see it looks like we have almost identical setups , although yours looks a bit longer , I think I might try this setup looks pretty good Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Spoonfed how does that work being so close to the water, I’ve always thought the higher off the water the better Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
I like the idea my only concern is there are no rod holders currently near the rocket launcher , and the base is 2-1/2 inch aluminum and I’m having a heck of a time finding rod holder that would mount to that diameter pipe Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Setting up a new to me boat. Currently the planer reels are mounted on the base of the tower for my rocket launcher mounted about midship or a little further back. My worry is that the angle of the lines will narrow my trolling spread or may even run into my dipsy lines being so close the rear of my boat. Has anyone ever made a mast that is mounted up front on the roof of the cuddy strictly for moving the planer lines forward to increase trolling spread width and clearance for rods ? Pictures and tips or tricks are greatly appreciated

Looking to add some lead core rods to the spread , any advice on a good semi-cheap rod for running lead core off the big boards Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I haven’t had that problem yet , but I know I haven’t been able to use the search function , it responds with no topic found , searching something as broad as salmon or down rigger yields no results Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
