Right , you may be able to run closer but that’s the number I’ve chosen to use and it’s worked good for me Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Actually now that I think about it as long as your not running any lead or copper off of boards, I would send the high diver out first then the low diver then if you choose to a rigger to the inside of that next Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
I run one on a zero or one setting , sending that rod down first as your “low” diver then the next one goes an a 2.5 or 3 setting as a “high” diver , usually with fifty feet or more of line separation in distance out from the reel Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

I don't own one but I have fished from one,sea ray amberjack ,not a total all out trolling boat but very comfortable to fish from and may have some other amenities that your wife may like. Depending on your price range you could go with a 27 or even a 29 footer. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
I'm live just outside of Buffalo but fish the oak quite often, if you have access to a pin I would at least toy around with it and see how it feels in your hands , I love mine especially fishing the Catt and the lower niagara Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
What size creeks and streams do you plan on fishing ? How long are the holes you plan on fishing ?i like to use a spin rod in super small streams or streams with super short runs , anything bigger I love my center pin for .... just curious what kind of rod do you use for your bait caster ? Looking to try one out floating for kings .... hopefully a good drag and mechanical advantage will help in that situation Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Yes end to end one yard long by two or four inches and I believe they also carry six inch material as well Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
The Mylar is "banded" at the top , probably a quarter of and inch of the top of the material is solid and it's what holds all the Mylar together . You just cut out one, two or three inch sections to make your flies Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
