    I grew up fishing in star crafts with my dad and grandad. My buddy has the same boat I just bought in the 176 and it fishes very well. Only bad thing is I have to drive to Chicago when I get back from Oneida on Sunday to pick her up.

    I just put a deposit on a 2001 Superfisherman 196 with 135 hp optimax. Has an 80lb minn Kota with Ipilot and lowrance elite 7 HDI. Going to pick it up on Monday!!!

    A couple smoker crafts have caught my eye but the Superfisherman is still the boat for me. Just wish I could find a decent one.

    I've been looking. That exchange rate is very tempting. I'm sure something will pop up. I'd like the one in Lakeview. A little older, kind of beat up but a blank canvas for me to do what I want with.

    I would love that Alumacraft. Unfortunately my budget is less than 10k for the boat so I have money to rig it the way I want. Looking for that diamond in the rough guess.

    I may have found a buyer for my boat so I figured I'd start looking for her replacement. I'm looking for a Superfisherman or similar layout. Preferably 2000 or newer. With or Without gear. 17-19'. If anybody has anything similar, or knows somebody who does, please PM me or point them in my direction. Thanks.

    We made it back to Oneida this weekend. This time my 16 yr old son was with us to try for his first eye through the ice. Well he got his first limit of eyes and biggest jumbo perch at 13.5". Another great weekend in the books. Hopefully the ice holds up and wee can go back next weekend

    Yeah I like having the wheeler out there too. But I'll walk a couple miles as long as the drag isn't too bad. I'll have the boy with me this time hauling the gear out while I sip my coffee. Lol

    It was fairly consistent 7". The snow covered areas had 5". A lot of cracks opened up while we were out there. Cool to hear and feel the ice move like that. With this warmup, I could see some of those cracks opening up a lot. Just be careful.

    It is a mudpuppy. Found him when pulling tipups at 11:00 to pack up and go home. It was a zoo out of Lewis. The ice was popping and shifting all over too

    We finally made it out to Oneida this weekend. It was a tough call not to fish in the Honeoye tourney but a decision I'm glad we made.

    Did he check the ice at all? I'm taking a 2 hr drive Saturday to try and get on the south end. I know trident just locked up according to the webcam but the south end camera has been showing ice for awhile.
