  1. Just boxed a nice steelie on chrome frog spinny with Proam fly. Sent it back down and now hooked up a SCREAMER.
  2. We set up in 80 and worked NW out to 200. Went past Wilson a bit and worked the 150-200 back east. Tons of bait around 185 FOW between Wilson and red barn. Once 10:00 came around we only had 2 more rips until 11:30 with nobody home. We pulled and ran in so my grandad could get home to watch his race. Had our chances at a real nice box but couldn't get it done.
  3. Could not keep them on today. I think we ended with 5 fish caught on 13 hits. Lost 3 majors. One broke off, and two tangled in the wires.
  4. Just doubled on wires. Lost the screamer in another wire and boated a 10 lber.
  5. On the water about 615. Hooked a nice king at 630 on wire out 180 on a 3 pulling chrome frog spinny glow Proam atomik fly. Got it to the boat, 20#'s. just after setting that diver back out, took a shot on the same side mag diver out 200 on a 1 with nuclear green paddle meat rig. That one broke off. Just hooked up while typing
  6. The nuts hold the bolts to the reel. Then after mounting the reel to your rod, the bottom piece is connected around the rod using the threaded studs.
  7. If u troll at low eons and don't burn the carbons off the plugs the boat will have a hard time starting and running. Check or change your plugs. $20 and a little time could be the fix
  8. I'll give this a shot. Set up in 117 FOW at 4:30 this afternoon. Doubled on nuclear grn meat out 250 on wire and slider on 60 rigger. Small king on meat and 6 lb steelie slider.
  9. I Tell my son to dig a hole and bury them in my garden.
  10. I use 6-8' 30# maxima chameleon leaders on wire diver rigs. Shorter if running meat rigs since the fly leader is longer. They key to keeping the fish from breaking off Is to keep your drag set light so it clicks a little with the surge of the waves. Don't set the hook when a fish hits just keep the line tight.
