You know I was looking for the line on the water but couldn't find it. They should make it red instead of that faint blue. That way it would be easier to see in the water.
It is too bad it effects the largemouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, and Northern Pike as well but I see it could be viable option if those species were re-stocked.
If you sell it you won't have to worry about the issue... Not sure if that is an option, I don't know if I would be able to trust the boat again. Something I worry about every year more than the motor starting is sinking my investment.
Tracker has always hull issues. The only way for the thick aluminum welded hulls to properly be welded is from both sides and by a CNC last I knew the Tracker factory didn't use CNC welders. If I had to choose an an aluminum for LO it would be a Hewes or something similar. Obviously, when on a budget like most of us those boats are out of the question. I wouldn't be afraid of a Tracker now that they have the lifetime hull warranty but Like you mentioned Fleet it sucks having to get something like that fixed not knowing when you will get the boat back.
I was wondering if you guys wanted to keep a report on ice in the Chaumont Bay area. I know it is a little early but if there is someone that lives in the area and would like to keep us guys that live further away updated it would be great.
Any takers?
How is the bay and surrounding areas looking today? I live on the southern border by corning and our little ponds are icing up nicely. These low overnights might just save our ice season.
Yah here is a link for the reciprocity of the P.A. carry concealed.http://www.pafoa.org/law/carrying-firearms/concealed-carry/reciprocity/
This is an interactive map that allows you to choose which states you have the permit in to check reciprocity.

The whole process takes about 20 minutes and if you don't have restrictions you will come out of the courthouse with your P.A. carry concealed. I will also recommend calling to double check before you make the drive.
Here is a link to the courthouse:

Couldersport in P.A. Go to the county clerk and make sure you have current driver's license and concealed permit with no restrictions. Pay them $35 and you'll be able to carry something like 35 states.
Sorry I misread the earlier post. I too use the medium, not the medium heavy.
I like to catch them on a medium weight 7' spinning rod that makes for a good fight. I have caught them on an ultra lite but not purposely.
These are what I use, they pull double duty on my boat salmon/walleye. Only downside is you don't fight the fish as much, but the only time I have lost a fish is when fighting it for too long. I also use these with big boards or inline planers.
I shot this buck a couple weeks ago wed. before Thanksgiving he is nice 135" 10 point. Saw him August on a trail cam and thought maybe he was hit by a car or poached as we didn't see him again until the week before thanksgiving when we saw him or thought it was him run into our swamp.
He has a huge head I have never seen a deer with such a large head. Also he made most of his score in his mass because his inside spread was 14 1/2" outside was 17 1/8". 5" bases and held up to 4 3/8" up past the G3's. Bases were a little bigger than a redbull can.
No new equipment but I only used my flasher a handful of times, So I haven't been able to experiment and work with it.
Looks like you have been ready since July! haha I haven't even gotten my sled out of the shed yet.
Anyone else getting the itch? I have seen several long term forecasts and it seems like it might be a mild winter with next to no ice? I sure hope not I was looking forward to ice fishing this year as last year I was very limited with my new born arriving Jan. 13th.
I'm glad they work for you. Do you have a lot of AG fields in the area they are planted? I had AG fields within 100 yards of my plots and they would rather browse the soybean (before they yellow) than the turnips we had. The only turnips we have planted are brassica which are great for drawing in deer in the late season after all the AG fields have been harvested and snow starts to fly.
