  1. Does it sputter at the higher rpm? Sounds like the timing is too retarded.
  2. Holy dark fish! Sent from my thinking chair...
  3. All 75gr. fixed blade 1" cutting diameter. 1st photo is a straight on shot directly into the neck. Not the best of shot placements but got the job done. 128" 8 point 2nd photo goes with 3rd and 4th The 3rd one down shows a 30 yard hard quartering away entry (just in front of the left rear hip) and the 4th photo shows the exit wound (behind the front right shoulder). I shoot light arrows around 375 grains weight including broadhead, out of a 62# bowtech tribute. 139" 9 point 5th photo was of a smaller 10 point buck but worth mentioning because it was a 50 yard shot broadside went 60 yards and piled. Ended up cutting his heart in half. 129" 10 point. Hey I'm not bragging but fixed blades work for me. Sent from my thinking chair...

  10. When I was referring to parts I meant lower unit parts (upper and lower gear cases), manifolds, ect. I'm not sure how interchangeable the blocks are. Sent from my thinking chair...
  11. Run away, 90s bayliners and older are junk. I don't mean to offend anyone but they extremely low quality boat. Sent from my thinking chair...
  12. We hit 65' last year thought we had a giant king until it just keeping ripping drag Constant and I looked at the depth finder. Oops Sent from my thinking chair...
  13. I have a hard time trusting expandable broad heads when my buddies all shoot rage and have lost deer. My father in law shot one of those rubber band style and lost a buck of a lifetime. For me I'll stick to my 3 blade fixed broadhead. Not knocking any brands this is just what I have witnessed first hand. The penetration issue is huge with any expandable, watch the hunting shows with guys shooting top of the line bows and half the arrow is hanging out still on 20 yards shots. 14. Look into upgrading to a mercruiser engine and lower into if it is a complete rebuild top to bottom. OMC parts are becoming harder to find. Sent from my thinking chair...
  15. We have been on a few in Chaumont bay. They are really hit or miss lately. Sent from my thinking chair...
  16. 4 blade will only allow for less "slip" and most likely make your boat slower from added resistance in the water. A good 3 blade stainless will give you top performance out of your motor. Make sure you get the correct pitch before buying a stainless prop they are not cheap. Sent from my thinking chair...
  17. This right here but the VRO isn't complete junk but can cause some headaches of not properly maintained. I have an 88 Johnson 150 with VRO with well over 1500 hours and not a bit of problems. She starts every season and pushes my boat nicely. Sent from my thinking chair...

    SLR eye

Managed 1 eye yesterday but it was my son's first time trolling with me. He's only 7 months but loves anything with an engine. Was 24" and guessing around 5 lbs. Had a couple big guys on but the will live another day to fight. Sent from my thinking chair...
  21. I did the same and took around 6 hours. Like mentioned above it is dependant on the boat. Mine was very easy to get at.Sent from my thinking chair...
