  1. Sound like the line wasn't put on tight enough or you allowed some backlash.
  2. I run the magda pro 30's next year I am switching over to the Covectors. I have had real good experiences with Okuma I bought a couple of broken reels and called them and they sent me new parts free of charge.Great company with exceptional customer service.
  3. Should be, Les just listed his contact info try giving him a call. I am sure he is a busy guy with the season starting, I think he owns a bait shop.
  4. It's not bad I use the older uni-troll with the 4' fixed booms and when I fish alone my arms get a little tired. I run a sliding cheater on them most of the time with a spoon. On a good day I will be down 80'-90' and alternating sides which makes it nice and I won't get just 1 Popeye arm. The worst is when you want to get the line just a little tighter then POP goes the release.
  5. I use the 16lbs. troutman weights and they are top notch. Harvey is a good guy and will take care of you.
  6. You would probably need top have someone machine it for you. I have 10lbs. mould for fish weights if you're interested. Sent from my thinking chair...
  7. I use the torpedo 16lbs troutman weights.

  9. Exactly what my team is planning on doing.
  10. Looks like the cabelas magnum rubber net.
  11. In all fairness the guy hasn't ever contributed information wise to the forum. He has only posted stuff for sale or bumps his merchandise....
  12. I have a sub troll and it treats me well I can't complain it is an older unit but it works. I can't drop the $$$ they want for a fish hawk, my next one if I need to replace it might be the Smart Troll unit they seem to work and are a bit cheaper than the fish hawk.
  13. Yup couldn't have said it better.
  14. I hate to say it but most if not all fish can acclimate themselves to a 4* difference easily. I mean I have fish that were half frozen "wake up" when they hit the bottom of the sink and started to thaw out.
  15. The smart tabs aren't adjustable so if you want adjustment look into the electric trim tabs. I am thinking about adding electrics on my boat. They don't recommend them for a boat that is moored but there are people that have them on moored boats. Lots of big name boat manufacturers are switching to electric tabs for ease of install and response time. I believe the new grady's, whalers, and a few others are using them, of course you can order hydraulic if preferred.
  16. Need a good NE wind to blow that stuff out of there!
  17. Get a hold of me opening weekend of walleye and we can discuss the fish a little. I'll be heading up friday night and staying up thru sunday. Sent from my thinking car!
  18. She is really starting to look good almost thawed up there the last few days have really opened her up.
  19. Looks like you're fishing out of a Proline. Mine is setup the same way.
  20. Added link for the ones I bought. These draw 2 amps each. I am going to hook up with my courtesy lights and should do a nice job lighting up my deck.
  21. So I broke down and ordered a set of LED spreader lights, I got these off Amazon for semi cheap. Hooked these up to my battery holy crap are they bright. Now I just need to wire them up. http://www.amazon.com/Signstek-Headlight-Waterproof-Dustproof-Shockproof/dp/B00CKIHT1S/ref=pd_rhf_se_s_cp_3_E85M?ie=UTF8&refRID=0RZFZBBVYWJ6BQACGYP2 Sent from my thinking chair...

Looks like it is breaking up but the area between PP and Sackets still has a lot of ice. Only a matter of time with this warm weather and rain. Looking forward to hooking up with some marble eyes. I will have a full boat this year, I shouldn't have showed so many pictures to my fishing buddies.
  23. Welcome to the forum, it is quite addicting!
  24. Fuel, looks like it leaked past the needle and seat. If you store your motor in a raised position for a long period of time it is bound to happen. Just wipe it off and you'll be good to go.
  25. I'm not constantly watching my down speed/temp or any of my electronics for that matter. Once you get the right speed and temp you're normally looking back at rods. I have mine mounted up at the helm with the rest of my electronics. I did this so later on if I add drop curtains I don't need to constantly keep removing it. The amount I'm watching in front of me depends on location and boat traffic.
