  1. Ok great, That is what I figured.
  2. As it stands most if not all Pro/Am tourneys limit the amount of rods 8/6 for Pro/Am. This leads me to think that I can run as many cheaters/sliders as I desire long as I have no more than 6 rods out, is that correct?
  3. Ya I have been told the cabelas boards can pull 200 and 300 coppers I haven't tried but might give her a shot. The best part of the walleye and cabelas boards are the adjustable keel weights. Do you run the weight further forward when running copper?
  4. I had a buddy catching them on anything from fire tiger to glass/ghost. I generally always run deep divers over 20-30 fow set backs vary from 200'-100' it depends where the fish are in the water column. Longer leads if they are closer to the bottom and shorter if they are higher. I have caught many fish this season on the ghost/glass color I also had some come on matzuo kinchuo perch, and blue silver
  5. Ya I didn't realize you already had a set of church boards. I'm a little OCD and had to have all green cabelas boards and use the off shores as back ups. I like the church boards just could never get them to pull as hard. Look at franksgreatoutdoors.com they have great prices on those boards as well and ship very fast.
  6. Hey bud check out a couple post below this one. Sent from my thinking car!
  7. I did the exact same thing with my small speakers. Good thinking. Sent from my thinking car!
  8. Not sure why it quoted someone elses post. Sent from my thinking car!
  9. You have the size of the board? Are they the same as the off shore boards? Sent from my thinking car!
  10. Good to see you got her all figured out, every boat has its quirks just have to figure them out and keep an eye on them. On a side note, over the weekend I used the Dunk's De-Carbon method on the old Johnson 150 and you should have seen the junk that came out of her. I also sprayed her with SeaFoam's Deep Creep down in the cylinders and in the intake as she was running. That seemed to really help. Starting is now a breeze and idles great.
  11. You're telling me. I hope they stick around just 1 extra week. I would love to be able to troll for them the end of June. Long as we have some nice SW blows to keep that cold water in there we will be set.
  12. Before you buy anything look into the advance angler boards by Cabelas. I have 6 and they run the same as the off shore at almost half the price. The clips work great and they have an adjustable weight keel like the walleye boards.
  13. I vote option 2. You can buy smaller 4" hatches if you didn't want to cut a 6" hole.
  14. Took a few fish Saturday and Sunday. First time my buddy came out with us this season. One was just over 9lbs. I was kind of disappointed it didn't break the 10 mark. I thought for sure it was 10.
  15. Good Haul buddy!
  16. Once they are hooked they are lifeless and end up coming in twisting. No other fish I have caught does that.
  17. i don't keep mine at a marina but do keep it on a rail system. I feel your pain with wanting to take it here and there. It is also a 26 mile total run from where it is kept to the salmon grounds and at 13 gallons of fuel per a trip it is surely expensive with gas prices the way they are. This is purely recreation fishing so I'm not getting paid for one bit of the trip and I am usually alone so they are all day trips to make the most from it.
  18. I also caught one over the weekend. Only about 9lbs. watching the in-line planer skip across the water was pretty cool.
  19. Not the face, not the face!!!
  20. How big is the bag on the walleye nets?
  21. Hey you guys see the new A series 9" and 12" screens? That 9" screen sure is tempting.
  22. If it has NMEA2000 output then it will no problem.
  23. I wrap around my 4 fingers then with the last 6" i weave it around the wrap (in and out of the circle) then put the wrap in the swivel and attach back to lure eye. after that I just place into my special mate box and done. All nicely wrapped and doesn't have a way to come undone.
  24. Ya i figured, o well next year new depth finder with GPS.
  25. Free bump to great boat. This is a pre-bayliner boat and are one of the best riding boats comparable to Grady White. These are a nice heavy hull made for the rough water.
