We used to perch fish in an old, and leaky 14' duracraft. A few times we were out in the 4 footers and the wife about killed me. That was probably one of the roughest riding boats I have ever been in.
I fished henderson last weekend and there was at least 30 boats out there from the finger to the wall. That didn't include myself and other guys out near the shipping lanes. Whenever there is a big derby on there will be a lot of boat traffic where the fish are. I try to stay to the outside of the pack as I have tangled lines and lost gear from guys running too close (It was my dipsys)
I dont want to fool you guys but that smaller bright white antler is a drop from that same buck 2 years prior. I didn't see that buck for 3 years until I killed it in 2008.

Here are a few photos of my 136" 9 point from the previous archery season. Nevermind the 161" 10 point next to it...cough cough.

As of late the perch fishing has been less than stellar, the only thing you could try are smallies and they aren't the best. Walleye are near grenadier island and they are extremely hard to come by almost as hard as the salmon.
Ya the lake flipped from the day before with the heavy west wind. I dropped my probe to the bottom and I had 72 from top to bottom in 150fow. We were lucky and got a couple releases but nothing boated. I marked a lot of bait and fish on the bottom but no takers no matter what I threw down.
I managed to get bit off on one of my lines and can't remember what I had on it. I hate it when I can't remember.
Pretty sure I saw u you guys. I was the white proline with blue bimini. We stayed at the lanes but didn't boat a fish. Had 1 on the riggers but got off after I handed it to my sister in law and had another that tangled 3 riggers together.Sent from my thinking chair...
I was going to hit it this afternoon but there were 5' plus waves on our way out and just stayed at camp. Hopefully tomorrow morning will be better.

Thanks Tim I get that but I was wondering if anyone knew the size of loop in relation to the length of the leader. I guess I didn't really word it right.Sent from my thinking chair...
Generally speaking with a spin doctor on the most action setting, how big of a loop will it make? I am concerned it will get into the other rigger line with short leads

I have an 81 in the 23' these boats handle 6'ers without a problem. These hulls are comparable to Gradys without the huge price tag.

I tie the dipsy letter directly to the dipsy with a swivel on the spin dr end to change off different spin dr/flasher. For that swivel I just use the one that comes with the spin dr.Sent from my thinking chair...
