    i did not mean anything either. i myself have bought from ebay and picked through what i wanted and sold the rest. i recently bought some spinnys from the same seller, i kept about 3/4 of them and sold the rest. and shinintimes, i am no pro member.

    i use it for steering mostly, but on dead calm days i use it for thrust and steering. the track back feature is great. for steering only at 2.0 i am usually around 5 of 10. on calm days you can sneak up close and personal to the browns using it for thrust. it is dead silent. the hand held wireless control is the best, when most of your business is at the stern you dont have to worry about a foot pedal at the bow.

    i have a 19.5' C.C. i use a 70lb thrust 24volt minn kota with auto pilot. i can usually troll all day on 2 batt. provided the wind is not too bad.

    you can run 18, i will stick with less. 18 would be a disaster with 5 kids on my boat.

    i run inside deep mags on a #1 setting on wire and outside high #1's on #3 setting on braid

    i have been using okuma 8' 6'' with twili tips with pretty good results. my boat is a 19 foot same scenario.
