    minn kota powerdrive v2 :yes: i had a 55lb v2 for 4 years. 2 batteries on a batt. switch. 19 foot bayliner, could troll for 3 days. i now have a v2 powerdrive 70lb 24 volt. bigger boat.

    I TROLL ON SENECA WITH A 90 HP 2 STROKE MERCURY AND CONSISTENTLY CATCH FISH. I EVEN HAVE CAUGHT A FEW BROWNS AND L.L. 10' DOWN AND ONLY ABOUT 50' BACK. MOTOR NOISE IS PROBABLY NOT THE PROBLEM.

    to reset a dipsy deploy it between rigger and board lines,set it in ahead of the rigger and off to the side of the boat. it will dive down and away clearing the rigger planer boards should be well out of the way. to reset a planer board i deploy straight down the chute, krawlers questions were on the initial deployment. hope this helps. tight lines.     leadcore on planer boards, riggers while the planer boards are slowly moving out, then wire line with mag dipsys on #1 then braid dipsys 0n #3. i run 9 rods with 3 guys on a 19.5 ft C.C. good luck and tight lines. P.S. the fish on will sometimes ruin the best plans.LOL

    trolling is the main technique for catching trout and salmon on lake Ontario. there are many other species to catch. perch, both large and small mouth bass, catfish,panfish of all types. also, trout and salmon in the tribs. if you like the strike you will love a steelhead or salmon when they run the tribs.
