  1. is there a depth chart out there for mag dipsy's and #1 dipsy's on wire or braid? if someone knows of one please let me know about it. i tried the luhr jenses site but nothing. the chart supplied is for 20# mono and no rings.thanks.
  2. well, the magda pro ma30dlx reel i used had a line capacity of 15/510yds- 20/420yds- 25/310yds. and it will only hold 5 color of 18# with 150yds of 40lb spiderwire stealth.the spiderwire only has a line diameter equal to 10# mono.hope this helps.
  3. ok, i transferred all but 150yds of 40lb braid off of my magda ma30dlx. the ma30dlx will only hold 6 colors with 150yds of 40 braid. long story short, tha ma20dlx is much smaller than the 30dlx so i guess this answered that. thanks for the help.p.s. glad that you guys put enough doubt in my head to make me check.
  4. i will be fishing mostly for browns and bows on the finger lakes.i will run a 10 lb test floro leader from spoon to lead.thanks for the help.

  9. thanks for the tips it will make my life a little easier on my first trip up. i am not commercial or pro by any means. i have a 20' kenner center console, and rarely have more than myself and a buddy on board. by the way hookedup, i just visited your website and maybe i will take advantage of your winter specials and book a trip with you.cant beat the price.
  10. hey guys, i am trying to get started on fishing cayuga lake. i have never fished water deeper than 50ft.cayuga is a bit deeper than that. my question is,can i fish cayuga lake effectively with dipsy divers or do i need to get into down riggers.i have fished dipsy divers for a couple of years now, but only for eyes on erie and in lake wallenpaupack were i live.what is the average depth that i need to achieve on cayuga for trout and LL.i have only caught steelhead and salmon from rivers, and want to broaden my horizon a little bit. any advice would be great.
