    Mitch, You aren't kidding, there are some real giants in that lake. I wish I had the motivation to chase them, but fishing at night isn't for me.

    I fish Owasco exclusively, and can attest to the amount of bait and true giants that live in the lake. The absence of lamprey and lack of fishing pressure is allowing the lake rebound after the overstocking/walleye introduction. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Seems like the fish are getting bigger on Owasco. The average fish has been very nice lately.

    Rusty, I have talked to a few guys who have been catching a few small browns. I only hooked one very nice rainbow right below the surface, but I have been jigging primarily.
